Well, I usually spend $100+ on my skin care products because I really try to take good
care of it.

I'll say that a reasonable amount to spend is $50+
And going overboard will be spending $250+

I generally use liquid hand soap to wash my face. Lately it's been feeling all rubbery. Usually my skin care routine is just washing with soap and water, then scrubbing hard eve (not enough to make my skin raw or anything) every few days to get rid of dead skin cells and moisturizing with a tiny bit of coconut oil. How come my skin feels all rubbery?

You definitely should NOT use hand soap on your face. It's too harsh. You need to buy a good facial cleanser. Clinique is good, but it can be a little pricey. Olay works fine as well, it's what I use. Buy one that is meant for your skin type, there is dry, normal, combination, and oily. It might take a while to find one that works well for your skin, its a trial and error type process.

What are good ssential oils for skin care?

I've heard that when it comes to skin care, you need to use essential oils (not base oils). What's the difference between the two? I've been using Jojoba oil but I think I want to switch it around a bit. What's better for facial skin care, combination skin? There's jojoba, almond, grape seed, tea tree, sunflower seed, coconut, etc.

Overall, the effects of essential oils may be divided into two basic groups. Some essential oils have actual physical effects. For example, eucalyptus oil can be inhaled to help clear sinuses and the respiratory tract. This would obviously relieve some symptoms of an upper respiratory infection (URI). I recently got both tragus' pierced. They were both a little swollen which is normal, but now one has been covered by skin. The skin around the earring is starting to surround it, and i can barely see the stud. I can't remove it, it seems stuck. It is extremely painful and there is small bump. It has been scabbing and pussing a little bit. Yellowish but it does not smell. What do i do? Should I remove the earring and push it through? Will it close over the earring? Help!

You should see your piercer to have the jewelry changed out for a longer bar, or a ring. In the meantime, you can continue your saline soaks and cleanings with your antibacterial soap. When cleaning, try rotating the piercing or pushing it so it loses it's grip on the skin. Do this EXTREMELY carefully, you don't want to tear the piercing.

But, definitely see your piercer.

What is the permanence of a nose piercing?

I am thinking of getting my nose pierced. However, considering the possibility that I may have a professional career sooner or later, I want to be able to have the ability to remove the ring (or stud, or whatever) if I decide I don't want it anymore.

What I am wondering is, will there be a hole leftover? If so, will that hole be noticable?

My ear piercings do not in any way behave like my nostril piercing: my earlobes are entirely skin without cartilage, and have been pierced since I was an infant. I have gone years without wearing earrings, and they are in absolutely no danger of closing.

I've had a nose piercing for 6 years, and it's still in danger of closing up if I leave the jewelry out for longer than 3 minutes. Nostril piercings close up very quickly, because the cartilage in that area of your face has a very fast regeneration rate. The skin on the inside of your nose does, as well, and so the fastest places to close will always be the inside of your nose, as well as the cartilage. the skin on the outside may close up at the general speed your skin tends to heal at.

You can remove the stud after the initial piercing has healed entirely (about 3-6 months with proper cleaning and care. no soreness, no redness, no stiffness, period.), and in many cases, it will look like a large pore when it is done closing up (I once accidentally let mine close up a great deal at one point before getting the jewelry back in. The hole was almost entirely gone). Some people scar more easily than others, but if it's been in for a while, and closes, I see no reason as to why it would scar and not simply close into the "large pore" unless the individual was prone to scarring. Do you scar easily? then you might have to consider that. If not, then don't worry too much.
Note: if you remove the piercing before its done healing--especially if you haven't cleaned it well during the entire healing process-- then it *will* very likely scar.

There are ways to disguise your piercing for when you are at work, and I have done this ever since I've had mine. There is a simple method that I use to make a "retainer" that is virtually invisible.

Getting a piercing is costly, time consuming, and generally only recommended if you plan on keeping it for the long haul. It doesn't make too much sense to spend the money and time only to potentially remove it. If you think you will want to remove it for good without using retainers, then I would suggest not getting one. If you do decide to get one, then I would recommend getting a titanium nostril screw, as it is compatible with most people's bodies, does not discolor, and doesn't oxidize (oxidation causes potential problems with healing, including scarring). However, titanium pieces are more expensive as well.

I usually use Neutrogena Oil Free it prevents and treats any acne without drying out your skin. Then an SPF 15 moisturizer such as Neutrogena Combination skin or OIL of OLAY ( I know) with SPF15. I would also put on a mask such as MINT or CLAY to tighten your skin and close any big pores you might have. Sensitive skin cream for shaving and you're set.

It really depends on your hair I use Pantene once and it made my hair hard to straighten and my boyfriend's mom uses Pantene and it leaves her hair silky and smooth.

Healthy hair tips:

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioner so your hair won't be tangeled.

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week

Avoid combing hair while wet, use a wide tooth comb.

Deep condition twice a week

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in-... to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

If you dye your hair do it atleast once a year, hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill your hair.

How do I act more Russian?

Hi im Russian and lived in it 'till I was six, then moved to an English speaking country so now i'm wondering how I can act more russian! My friends tell me that I have that natural russian talent and the toughness - whatever that means - but i'm just wondering how I can act more Russian!
Also no Vodka for me yet - sad:( - 'cause i'm under age!

Life is not scene, you don't have "to act". No matter what role you choose, it would make you "face-less", "lost", emotionally and energetically devastated after all. Because it's not you, it's your role. If you're a self-sufficient person you wouldn't even think about wasting your time & vitality on acting.
If you are a real Russian (the ethnic one), Ukrainian or Belarusian, you should just feel it. Maybe 13-14 y.o. is too young, but this is definitely that very age, when you should gain some self-respect and individualism.
Finally, impostors or "exaggerators" are always frowned upon by their own compatriots and lots of other people.

If you feel nostalgic & patriotic, try to start from Russian literature. How about language btw? National food? Folk music? - if you don't like all this, if you don't feel any connection with all this, there is no need to wear Russianess as some kind of embellishment.
For a time being I only see your "weakness" to stereotyping much... Vodka? - dear, it kills your health, beauty, it makes your skin waterless/lifeless, yellow/brown (because it kills the liver), it makes you old, flabby and stinky. Is that what you're dreaming about? Vodka was invented by non-Europeans, non-Russians. Ascribing this alcoholic "monster" to us is russophobic: the violent imposition of vodka on the most sober nation in Europe (up to the end of XIX century) was made by non-Russian haters, who wanted to genocide as many Rus people as possible.

I have to do a project where I chart all the jobs in a city directory and want to classify like all the jobs into like maybe like 7 categories.

Of course there are. but you have to be qualified to do those jobs. My daughter is a RN. She worked in the ER and also in recovery at a hospital until she had a baby and didn't want to put the baby in day care so she went to work for a health insurance company. The job requires the employee to be a RN with a BSN and offers the opportunity to go into the office or stay at home to work. They furnish the computer, desk, phone line, FAX, printer, file cabinet. She doesn't even have set hours as long as she gets her work done. Accountants, proofreaders, tutors and music teachers often work from home and you can have a day care,or beauty shop in your home as well as doing seamstress work. Think about what you're qualified to do and you may be able to work from home too.

Okay me and my (ex)boyfriend still act like were together, but we cant officially be together because we fight nonstop and we don't get along. I noticed someone else suggested you try the acai berry thing. Google it. Those "free trials" are huge scams. The only way to detox and get healthy is by drinking lots of water, eating healthy, and staying in shape.

For your skin I would suggest diluted apple cider vinegar applied at night, and/or aloe vera. It helps heal break outs and get rid of toxins. I've used both for years and my skin is clear and healthy. I also take ground flax seed in the morning. (I had bad acne as a teenager and now I'm obsessed with doing everything I can to keep my skin healthy!) You can also drink aloe vera juice for a natural and clean way of promoting healthy digestion and repairing any damaged organs.
Oh, and don't forget a good multivitamin. Don't drink too much caffeine, and go to the gym a few times a week. Congratulations for deciding to purify your body! You'll feel so much better for it!
