I am planning on buying some clinique makeup to replace some old makeup. I'm 17 and i was also wondering if anyone could suggest certain colors for me that would be good. I have light to medium skin, auburn hair, and brown eyes. Thanks!

You definitely will want to look into their skin care system, it's great! The best "foundation" to a make-up look is great skin. Especially if you don't want to wear a lot of make-up. I have pretty good skin, and I get the Almost Makeup foundation, it has good coverage, but isn't cakey or look like you have foundation on, but it smooths your face. Plus it has sunscreen in it. I'd also get a good blush to make your cheekbones stand out, and they have great mascara!

What is a good skin strengthening product? Or just great must haves?

Do you also have any tips with skin in general: I just want my skin to look great and well taken care of.

Avon really works, yes I sell it but I also have bought lots of CRAPOLA and can tell the difference... example...just moved to TN from FL and the cold weather here just cracked my hands.. i mean they were itchy, bloody in the knuckles an looking like an old lady's hand.. (im no old lady lol) So I bought the Skin So Soft body cream.. the one in a jar $6.00 and when I put this on my hands.. it was THICK, it was creamy and my hands were in heaven.. I used it a few times for a few days and my hands were back to normal and when i tell you i tried everything!!!!! Vaseline, Palmer's coco butter, Scholl's..ect Nothing worked.. I always had to keep putting more and they would throb with pain.

Skin responds best to what you put in your body not what you put on it. It's old-fashioned but true. Eat lots of fruit and veggies, oily fish and cut back on sugar. Drink lots of water. I've done all this plus using a basic moisturizer - one for my face - one for my body since I was a teenager. My skin is amazing compared to other women my age. My new doctor thought I was in my late 30s not my early 50s.

How to get Brazilian Remy to wave back up after washing it?

Hey, I currently have Virgin Brazilian Remy sewed in my hair. It is wavy. And they guy at the beauty supply was trying to sell me a certain Brazilian shampoo and conditioner that I MUST use in order for my hair to go back to its waves after washing it. The woman that also works there said that It wont look the same way it did when I FIRST bought it which I completely understand. I still want some waves back though. My aunt told me It doesn't matter what shampoo I use, as long as while I am washing it, I don't scrunch it up. If I just run my fingers through it and don't condition it after wards, then let it air dry, that it should wave back up. I just wanted to make sure this was accurate?? OK, here's the skinny. I always recommend to start with an eBay store and the main reason is traffic. I know A LOT of people that have proceeded counter to my advice, started their own .com store and then come asking how to get traffic. eBay has millions of users running through listings everyday. You can focus on growing your business, sorting out your items, drop ship partners etc... and then expand to your own store. Then, you have a solid customer base, some sales and money under your belt and you can fund your new .com store and work on generating traffic to it while your eBay business runs on autopilot in the background.

I'm about to start using the Philosophy Skin Care Line and I don't know what to buy. I've heard tons of good reviews about the purity and hope in a jar moisturizer. what pants are to buy for staying in a cold room?

These options come to mind:

1, Thermal underwear or leotards. Available in cotton (cheap,) silk, and hi-tech fabrics like poly-pro. Cotton is fine if you are sure they will stay dry (likely in your home,) silk feels good against your skin and will def. keep your legs warm, but does not "breath" very well, poly-pro may not be quite as warm as silk but will breathe and is easy to take care of. Thermals have the advantage of you being able to throw some pants on over them if you need to go out.

2. Sweat pants. Dirt cheap, usually baggy, they make great lounge wear.

3. Insulated or lined jeans. I have a pair, they have a plaid fleece lining in them. Pretty warm, too.

But for the love of all that's holy, please, PLEASE don't get one of those lounge blanket/robes you see advertised on late-night TV.

Sun tanning will actually make sensitive skin worse. UV-B burns the epidermis whereas UV-A penetrates into the dermis and breaks out collagen and elastin fibers, which makes you look older than you are. Both increases the risk of skin cancer!!!

The ONLY safe way to tan is with a self-tanner, but even that does not get rid of sensitive skin.

If you are born with sensitive skin, then you cannot get rid of it, but you can surely control it. If you developed sensitive skin for whatever reason such as bad skin care regimen and bad lifestyle habits, then there is a way to treat it and get your skin back to its "normal" level. Regardless of skin tone, sensitive skin is universal to all skin colors. The same goes with age.

You seem to care that all things are equal. You denounce the idea of a matriarchy on the basis that it doesn't promote equality (good show)- but do you actually think that men care that there's been thousands of years of patriarchy? Do they care about whether or not you have equality? Why have women primarily had to do all the fighting for their rights while men have sat back, done next to nothing to right wrongs, and basically just complained about losing their male privilege?

The best way to keep the status quo is to denounce the existence of either in the first place. Of course this is why we often get the question here at GWS (it is still called GWS here in Canada btw LOL) ``As a white male, please tell me what privileges do I have in today`s society?`` My question is, if this privilege apparently doesn`t exist fellas, then why are you so inquisitive as to why it is being slowly erroded? How can something be erroded if it does not exist?

Well PERSONALLY I find natural things to work best,
you can just google home skin care remedies.
I know some like,
-Put rice in some water, let it sit in the water for a few minutes and bottle up the water and use that
for a toner.
-take the top tomatoe slice, dip it in sugar and exfoliate your face with it, for smooth skin and deep cleansing.
- after a shower while your poors are open put some honey on a dish, put it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds and put it on your face for a few minutes then rinse off.
- take an egg crack it and empty the content of the egg into two bowls,
whites in one bowl, yolk in another bowl. first cleanse your face with the whites and then
wash off when it dries and tightens. then do the same with the yolk. the white cleanses and the yolk moisturizes.

Last Year my best friend gave Kate clarifying cleanser it gets job done but

Oil free Goat cream is hydrating But it only made my skin softer like any drugstore

What is the best foundation for oily skin?

I have really really oily skin.I currently use Bare Naturale and I really don't like it.It gets my face all shiny,doesn't last,and looks horrible.I have lots of acne too.I want minimum shine and I prefer mineral makeup.Thanks a bunch !

If you have oily skin, you will need more than just a foundation to keep matte all day. You will also need a good skincare routine, primer and finishing powder that has matte finish.

I also have extremely oily skin. This is a skincare and makeup routine that works for me and keeps me matte all day without need to touchup no matter how hot/humid:

Alba Botanica Pineapple Enzyme cleanser followed by their Pineapple Enzyme scrub. The scrub is gentle enough for everyday use. Every third day or so, switch to st ives blemish scrub. It's too harsh for everyday use but is amazing.

Next use witch hazel as a toner. It will remove whatever excess oil/bacteria that may be trapped in your pores as well as tighten your pores. It's known to help treat acne and will not irritate.

Last, even oily skin needs to be moisturized. Pure jojoba oil is the ideal option because it is very balancing. It tricks your skin into stopping overproduction of oil while leaving it appropriately moisturized. It also treats acne, prevents blackheads, reduces redness and can be used as moisturizer. I use jason naturals jojoba oil.

(For night mask, no more than 2 nights a week to prevent overdrying, you need clay/mud and zinc oxide/sulfur masks. they will combat oiliness, treat acne, and tighten pores. You can use st ives timeless mineral clay firming mask and /or derma topix clay mint mask.)

In the morning after jojoba absorbs, apply one layer of PLAIN milk of magnesia to the entire face in place of traditional primer with a sponge and allow it to dry. Smooth out white spots you may see. They will disappear and you will be ready for foundation.

The milk is a matifying miracle. It will keep you matte far longer than mots high end primers will. It's superior to them at only 4 dollars. With continued use it will also tighten pores and treat/prevent acne without overdrying or irritating.

If you are interested in eyeshadows, pigments, blushes and bronzers that are also mineral, look into Fyrinnae, Lumiere Cosmetics, Prestige Skin Loving Minerals and Physicians Formula.

For a paraben free mascara that lengthens, volumizes, separates and fans lashes, holds a curl without irritating, flaking, clumping etc look into pop beauty lash wow.

i think when you first start a birth cntrl or switch brands it takes 7 days for it to be effective. Don't rely on it working for the first month tho just in case, so you if you are having sex use condoms at least for the first month

OK, here's the skinny. I always recommend to start with an eBay store and the main reason is traffic. I know A LOT of people that have proceeded counter to my advice, started their own .com store and then come asking how to get traffic. eBay has millions of users running through listings everyday. You can focus on growing your business, sorting out your items, drop ship partners etc... and then expand to your own store. Then, you have a solid customer base, some sales and money under your belt and you can fund your new .com store and work on generating traffic to it while your eBay business runs on autopilot in the background.

Where and Which type of extra virgin olive oil do i buy for face scrub?

Any type works as long as it's extra virgin. I buy a huge bottle from the Indian grocery store. You can buy Organic if you can afford it, but EVOO is made without chemicals so regular is usually good enough.
