BB 11 USA question. Is it Michelle or Natalie that is a pig?

Labels:

Johnnydang

I have heard that one of them only take a bath/shower every 4-5 days and that they admitted it on after dark. Some say Nasty Natalie and some say Michelle.

I can see either one of them being like that. Michelle is a nerd and cares more about work than her appearance and Nastalie is just a dude in a woman's skin. She walks like a little guy with a complex. Like a little bull dog. She is cute on the outside but is vile and disgusting on the inside.

Answer
It's Natalie !
Her nick name is pig pen.LOL
When she was one of have Nots and had to take cold showers she just didn't take one for a WEEK !
She didn't even take a dip in the pool !
And I don't want to get too personal but it was also her time of the month. And she still didn't care to take a shower ! I mean yikes !
The other HG's have said she smells and some of them were her friends like Chima.
Chima was her best friend !

That's why some people call her Nasty Natalie or Pig Pen.

Skin treatment for face?

concerned

I've been noticing that my pores are very numerous lately and my skin is red and just doesn't look all that great. I want to try something different to fix it. I''ve used benzoyl peroxide, st. Ives apricot scrub, and various other store bought supplements. My skin gets oily, but all of these face cleansers dry it out so much, so I use lotion and I feel it's a never ending cycle.

I heard that witch hazel was really good for your skin? And I know that vitamin C, E and A are great for your skin. I've been trying to change my diet and exercise more because I find that it helps, but would taking supplements help in the transition? Also, are there any other products or natural remedies that can help? I really would just like to concentrate on minimizing my pores and reducing the redness for now I suppose. I do have acne but it's very subtle bumps.

Any help would be amazing, thank you in advance.

P.S. Anything that could help hair that's been damaged from years of competitive swimming and basketball would be great advice too. It's very dry underneath and I don't know how to fix it. It just gets knotty very easily and frustrates me.

Answer
Swimmers:
Natalie Coughlin, California Olympian, trains outdoors year-round, and she's in the water up to four hours a day. But she's not a fan of chlorine-removing shampoos, saying, "I really recommend against those because they strip your hair of all its natural moisture and then that makes hair more susceptible to the chlorine damage, so it creates a vicious cycle."
Instead, she says it's important to use a gentle shampoo and a really moisturizing conditioner after every pool session, & a deep conditioner at least once a week.
"The sun definitely has bleaching effects on your hair ⦠and over time also makes hair more susceptible to damage," says Coughlin, who advocates a swim cap for laps and wearing a hat outside the pool for general sun protection. "As a teenager my hair was pretty frizzy and more damaged," says Natalie Coughlin, a 11-time Olympic medalist for USA Swimming (3 Gold, 4 Silver, and 4 Bronze), who's one-quarter Filipino. She credits a healthful diet, good hair-care products and working with instead of against her hair type for her healthy mane. "It's important that hairstylists shape my layers so that when I do wear it wavy and play up my natural curls it looks good," Coughlin says, adding that leave-in conditioner makes her frizz more manageable.
"But as I've gotten older I've learned to really embrace my hair's natural waves and natural texture rather than constantly straightening it," she says. Use gel like Samy when your hair is damp, scrunch your hair and let air dry, or blow dry using a diffuser concentrating @ the roots. Finger comb, tousle or shake your hair and you're good to go. In the morning, instead of washing them again, spray with water & conditioner, scrunch with your fingers and you're done.
Check out Keri Russell's hair!

One method to make it look fuller, add body, tame the curls, bouncier, thicker, SEXIER, softer & shinier hair is to set your hair with plastic curlers (not Velcro) after you towel dry, you'll end up with uniform balance of curls. Blow dry briefly while curling them in curlers. Take them out, and finger comb to style. When you're finished, use your fingers to shake your hair allowing it to fall naturally into place. Used by the best hair color models, and the fashion industry, like Victoria Secret Fashion Show Dec. 2009, 2010, & 2011, America's Next Top Models, EXPRESS, Toddlers & Tiaras, Dance Moms, Dancing with the Stars, Kris Jenner (was shown with curlers before a meeting while in her office - then took the curlers out and tousle with her fingers ready to go), and continued to be used today where salons care about pampering your hair. When you see hair on TV a hair color commercial, they're not done by curling or straightening tools. Hair that shines like that and feels like hair, not hay, has to be done by the best hair tools available w/out damaging to the hair. When you take the curlers out, finger comb to style or lightly brush. Tousle the hair up. or shake your hair. You can use large, medium or small curlers, that depends on the length of your hair. Think of JLo's hair, she was voted as the Sexiest Woman by People magazine and Glamour's Woman of the Year 2011.

Don't expect to look like you've stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you've changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results. Hair is dead, but hair also has electrical energy; the negative charge of damaged hair can lead to flyways and unruly hair.

Any kind of facial wash, you're leaving something toxic behind, it's not a matter of convenience, it's a billion dollar business that can do more harm than good to your acne. And sometimes we feel entirely virtuous about our skin-care regimen because it's full of SPF-- all year round!-- and cleansers and such. But the truth is, we may not realize that we're overdoing (or underdoing) something that can lead to the very thing we're trying to avoid: dryness, breakouts, accelerated aging, New York dermatologist Dr. Jeannette Graf. Take a shower everyday, use washcloth to exfoliate and bath & body wash. Hydrogen peroxide does wonders for acne. Visit their website for more tips & other uses. ONLY $1.

911 ACNE (10 POINTS)?

Q. i have really oily hair and face. which means i get acne easily. because i have oily hair, my hair always falls to my forehead and i get a lot of acne on my forehead. Do you have any ideas how i can get rid of this acne.
oh and i wash my hair everyday too.

Answer
Oily hair is difficult to manage, can be limp, and hard to style. This article explores some practical tips for caring for and how to manage oily hair.

A common misconception about oily hair is that it is caused by an oily scalp. The exact opposite is usually true. A dry scalp causes the oil glands in the scalp to produce more oil, and once on the scalp, this excess oil transfers to the hair itself. Therefore, to treat oily hair, one of the best things to do is focus on the dry scalp.

Below, you will find some hints and tips to help manage and care for oily hair:

Use a mild shampoo, shampoo for oily hair, shampoo for dry scalp, or a baby shampoo
Wash oily hair daily, but concentrate the shampoo on the hair away from the scalp to remove the excess oil from the hair, not on the scalp itself, because this can dry the scalp even more
Always rinse your hair thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water, because soap residue can make oily hair worse
Use a hot oil treatment directly on the scalp itself, gently massaging the oil into the scalp and then rinsing the oily hair thoroughly afterward
If hair is very oily, do not use conditioner at all, or use conditioner only on the tips or ends of the hair
Oily hair is likely shiny enough, so avoid using hair gloss gel or shine hair care products on oily hair
For extremely oily hair, a vinegar rinse, comprised of one (1) part vinegar to four (4) parts water can help remove oil from your hair, but be sure to avoid using vinegar on the scalp
Donât brush oily hair frequently, because brushing oily hair can actually cause the scalp to produce more oil
Donât rub or scratch your scalp when you have oily hair, because stimulating the scalp like this can produce more oil
Diluted lemon juice can provide similar results to the vinegar rinse for oily hair with a much more pleasant scent
Shampoo that contains tea tree oil can work well for alleviating dry scalp, if dry scalp is the primary cause of the oily hair. While diet has little affect on hair itself, eating a healthy diet and drinking plenty of fluids can help with dry skin and scalp too, and since dry scalp causes oil product that can lead to oily hair, diet can affect how much oil your scalp produces. Drinking water is not only good for your oily hair and dry scalp, but it's also great for your skin health too.

I hate waking up in the morning and seeing a new pimple
in the mirror. The best way to get rid of acne is to not get it in the first place, but once you have it, here are the best ways Iâve found to get rid of it, fast!
1. Wash with warm water
You donât need harsh chemical washes to keep your skin clear, or to clear up your acne really fast. The best thing to use is warm water on a clean washcloth.
2. Avoid caffeine
Caffeine will irritate your skin, and also flush much-needed water out of our system before it does its work!
3. Drink plenty of water
Healthy skin is hydrated skin. Drink your recommended 64 ounces of water each day to quickly clear up acne, and prevent it from coming back!
4. Use a moisturizer with salicylic acid
There are several moisturizers on the market that contain salicylic acid (otherwise known as aspirin). This chemical will clear up the acne you have now, and keep it from coming back! My favorite moisturizer with salicylic acid is Clean and Clear Dual-Action Moisturizer. Try it!
5. Donât over-dry
Harsh chemicals, like benzoyl peroxide, may over-dry your skin, making it irritated and actually MORE prone to acne! So just wash with warm water and apply an oil-free moisturizer to help cure, and soothe, your skin.
6. Donât stress
Stress is exactly what causes me to break out. When I feel stressed, I do yoga. If I let the stress get to me, then I get the worst break-outs EVER.
7. Donât cover it up!
You may be tempted to use concealer to hide your acne, but thatâs not going to get rid of it! Your skin needs to breathe to heal, so stay away from the foundation and concealer until it heals.
8. Keep your hair pulled back
The oils from our hair may also irritate our skin, and make it easier for acne to happen. While your skin is healing, keep your hair pulled back off your face.
9. Keep hands off your face
The dirt and oils from our hands are another way acne can start or take longer to heal. Another no-no â squeezing pimples. This just causes the oil from the ruptured acne to spread, making new blemishes. Ick!
10. Use an on-the spot treatment
There are some great new on-the-spot treatments for acne that work wonderfully! My favorite is Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment. You apply it directly onto the individual acne spots themselves, delivering a blast of healing there only. I love using this before bed, because by the time you wake up, the acne is gone!
Once youâve gotten rid of the little break-out, keep it from coming back! If it does come back, then pull up this list again to get rid of it again, fast!

Acne Skin Care!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Hey guy so im 13 and i know ever 13 girl gets acne. but i want to get rid of it! so im asking for produces and tips.I wash my face every night So can you tell me the fowling:
-cleansers
-spot treatments
-toner
-scrub/masks
-etc any thing that will help:D
AND PLZ ONLY THING YOU CAN BUY IN THE DRUG STORE!!!!!

Answer
Hi Victoria.

Acne - Blackheads & WhiteheadsAcne is the most common skin disease treated by physicians. It is a chronic condition that affects over 85% of adolescents and young adults. One study showed that two-thirds of teenagers with acne wanted to talk to their physician about their acne, but only one-third actually did.

TYPES OF ACNE
Not all acne is the same. Simplistically, acne can be divided into red bumps and blackheads/whiteheads. This division is important because each type is treated differently. Blackheads and whiteheads, known as comedones, can be more numerous on the face and shoulders than red bumps filled with pus. Good, consistent skin hygiene can help improve this condition. Therefore, knowing more about what causes comedones and how to treat them is a step towards clearer skin.

WHY DOES ACNE OCCUR ?

BLACKHEADS
Blackheads, also known as open comedones, are follicles that have a wider than normal opening. They are filled with plugs of sebum and sloughed-off cells and have undergone a chemical reaction resulting in the oxidation of melanin. This gives the material in the follicle the typical black color.

WHITEHEADS
Whiteheads, also known as closed comedones, are follicles that are filled with the same material, but have only a microscopic opening to the skin surface. Since the air cannot reach the follicle, the material is not oxidized, and remains white.

SKIN CARE FOR BLACKHEADS AND WHITEHEADS
The key to skin care for acne is consistency. An overnight cure has not been found. But using good skin care methods aids in the daily, steady improvement of follicle health. Since acne is not caused by eating certain foods, restricting the diet is not helpful. Since it is also not caused by "dirty" skin, excessively scrubbing does not help and can even make the skin more irritated.

The best skin care for comedones consists of once-a-day cleansing with a mild soap or facial scrub to aid in the removal of excess sebum and dead skin cells. Oil-based makeup should not be used since these can contribute to the buildup of oil in the follicles. Water-based makeup labeled as non-comedogenic can be used safely.

TREATMENT FOR BLACKHEADS AND WHITEHEADS
Treatment of whiteheads and blackheads takes time. Most treatments take several weeks to months before a noticeable change is seen.

BENZOYL PEROXIDE
Benzoyl peroxide has an antibacterial effect and may also decrease the chemical reaction that changes the lining of the hair follicle. This may help reduce the plugging that causes comedones. Benzoyl peroxide may be used for a mild case of comedones or to help prevent formation of others.

TRETINOIN (RETIN-A)
Tretinoin (Retin-A, Avita, Renova) is the mainstay of treatment for whiteheads and blackheads. Tretinoin is a derivative of vitamin A and works by increasing cell turnover and reducing the "stickiness" of the sloughed cells. It helps expel the plugged material returning the pore to normal. Tretinoin can be irritating, so specific instructions on how to use it can be found here.

ANTIBIOTICS
Prescription topical antibiotics or oral antibiotics might be used if some of the blackheads and whiteheads are infected, but antibiotics do not help with comedones that are not infected.

ISOTRETINOIN (ACCUTANE)
Isotretinoin (Accutane) is used for severe cystic acne and has many side effects. It is very effective for comedones when used properly, but is not usually prescribed for mild acne of either type.

EXTRACTION
Extraction may be used by a health care provider on open comedones. This process is performed using a device called a comedone extractor. This is a small, metal, circular instrument that is centered on the comedone and pushes down the surrounding skin, causing the plug to extrude.

NO NEED TO SUFFER
Whiteheads and blackheads are types of acne that affect many people. There are good treatment options available, so there is no need to suffer with this condition in silence. A primary care provider can initiate treatment for acne and follow mild to moderate cases. Severe cases or those resistant to treatment should be seen by a dermatologist.

Regards. Take Care.

Face powder and skin care regime?

Bugg

I'm 32 and need a good face powder and skin care regime. I've tried so many things. I'm on Clinique for skin care now, and I've produced such clogged pores on my chin that I had to go to a estictian to have them extracted.
I use Mac pressed powder for my make up.
Besides my chin, I have a pretty good complexion. It's combo to oily I guess, and differs depending on the season.
What should I use??

Answer
I hate that Clinique skin care line! It breaks me out in the worst way. When I talked to one of the ladies about it she told me it was bringing my impurities to the surface. Yeah, well, my impurities never stopped coming to the surface. Mac makeup breaks me out in little irritation bumps. My dermatologist suggested using a foam cleanser such as Aveeno or Neutrogena. I really like the Clean and Clear Morning Burst though. I use that morning and night. For foundation I like Clinque's Moisture Surge. It is not too heavy and really looks natural. I follow that up with Maybelline powder. This is the routine my skin seems to like the best. If you like powder foundation, I would talk to Clinique. I'm sure they have one and their make up is hypoallergenic unlike Mac.

I was sat down one morning when it was horrible outside and I was watching This Morning. They had an item on how to care for different skin types. Iâve always had problem skin from eczema to acne and usually at the same time â not a pleasant sight â so I watched this with great interest.

Anyway the short story is that for sensitive and dry skin they recommended an exfoliator wash. I donât normally put things like that on my face as they tend to irritate it, but I thought you can only try once. So of I drove to my local Superdrug. The only wash that I could find for sensitive skin was the Simple one. So I bought it. Heres how it measures up:

**Price**
£4.69 for 150ml â I thought this was quite expensive when I bought it but you donât use a lot and it seems to go on forever.

**What does it do?**
it has little bits in it (the technical name being micro-particles) that gently scrub your face, it gets rid of all the dead skin cells and helps to unblock pores. It also has an anti-bacterial agent which helps to fight spots.

**How to you use it?**
Make your face and neck damp, then in small circular movements apply a small amount to your skin. It feels a bit funny at first, but you feel a lot better afterwards. After you have finished this rinse it away with clear water, then dry your skin with small pats of the towel. You should instantly feel the difference.

**Ingredients**
Aqua (water), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Zinc PCA, Panthenol (Pro-vitamin B5), Sodium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Benzophenone-4, Methylparaben Sodium Hydroxymethylglyanate, Diprorylene Glycol, Phytosphingosine, Lavandula Angustifolia, Anthemis Nobilis.

Someone out there may understand all that, but it does say on the packaging that this product contains no animal derived ingredients.

**Packaging**
this come in a fairly simple green transparent tube with a greeny-blue lid. It has the Simple logo on it and is instantly recognisable for being made by Simple.

**VERDICT**
I have been using this for about a month now (and Iâm still on the first tube) and the difference in my skin is instantly apparent to those who know me. All my spots have disappeared along with any signs of eczema and blackheads.

This product has been the best buy of the year for me and it has given me some of my self confidence back.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

**Contact details**

Good Luck, by the look of the reivews this is a good product aimed at reducing oil in skin and clearing the bacteria that leads to pimples, good luck with this product i hope it does for you what it has done for others.

Most manufacturers will direct you to distributors that sell case quantities, as manufacturers can't be bothered with even case quantities.

4) St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub
5) St. Ives Fresh Skin Mineral Moisturizer with SPF 15
6) Aveeno Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 15

I'm only getting 1 cleanser, 1 scrub, and 1 moisturizer/lotion.
Reccomendations are fine too. Anything but Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, and Proactive. Under $10 each please.

Answer
Tretinoin, which is the generic form of Retin-A (acid form of vitamin A). This works wonders for my skin from acne and blemishes to blackheads and wrinkles. generic is much cheaper costs around $2 per tube.

Authentic natural black soap around $3-5

natural Shea butter $5

You can get some of these on Amazon, Ebay, and few other places.

What are your reviews on phytomer skin care products for acne?

Run It Out

Ive tried everything....should I try the phytomer skin care line?
It's about $150.00 for a 2-4 month supply.

I have really bad acne recently and definitely a lot of scarring now.

Thoughts?

Answer
I would not recommend that you use another product. The most common mistake people make is using too many products, which can make the problem worse. To clear up pimples or acne keep your face scrupulously clean - a mild soap and water is all you need unless you have significant outbreaks and then you should use an antibacterial soap. Wash only twice a day. Rinse well. Drink plenty of water. Avoid touching your face if you have not first washed your hands - our hands have TONS of bacteria on them. If you do get a pimple, do not pick at it. Treat it by using a hot wet compress (clean washcloth) two or three times a day. If you want to use a moisturizer, use olive oil. It really does work and is not at all greasy, despite what you might think. Never put anything on your skin that you would not also consider eating, as if it is rubbed into the skin it is also absorbed into the blood stream. If you do these things and you still have uncontrolled outbreaks of pimples, see your doctor, as you may have acne, which usually requires prescription medication.

There's no make up or photoshop in this photo, it's only moisturizer that they have on. And common it's four of them they can't all honestly have naturally perfect skin. I know they're actresses that probably can spend time and money on their skin that us regular folks cannot, but it's not impossible is it? My skin isn't bad now, just a few blemishes here and there, but I'd like it to be better like theirs. Tips?
Tnx in advance

Answer
I know you think that these girls are not wearing any makeup, but they are wearing concealer and are put under flattering lights for the photo shoot. Dont be fooled into thinking they look this good when first waking up.
You can make your skin the best it can be though, by eating well, sleeping well, exercising, controlling stress, avoiding drinking, smoking, and sun exposure without SPF. Also adoping a skin care regime that suits your skin- cleansing twice a day, exfoliating(gently), moisturizing with an oil free product, and a topical anti acne product where needed. Getting a facial with every season change is also recommended.
ps- trust me- they dont all have naturally perfect skin

Yes, you can use both and vaseline will not break out your skin, however be careful how much you use it could clog your pores. Coco butter is also good if you get burned. Both will make your skin soft and glowing.

Coconut Oils?

queensgirl

I've been reading alot about the benefits of coconut oils (for cooking, applying to your skin and hair, etc.). I have been looking at several websites that explain everything about the oils and different types, which is the best, etc., however there are so many brands with huge price differences. Can anyone recommend a brand that you find works well and lives up to its promise? If you use it, what benefits do you think it has from personal experience? I know it is good for the skin outside, but supposedly it's good for many, many things, internally and externally. Thank you everyone!!
Also, which is better...virgin or extra virgin coconut oil?
thank you so far for the links, most of those i have read. I appreciate your help so far, but I am interested in hearing from people who are using it and what benefits they see and feel from it.

Answer
Virgin Coconut OIl or VCNO is all you need if it's a good brand.

It's incredible stuff. It definitely gives me more energy and in cooking it gives foods a great taste. Also if you fry with it it doesn't taste greasy.

Since frying can use a bit of it I use the Organic Expeller Pressed Coconut Oil. It doesn't smell quite as good but works fine for frying and is cheaper.

You have not lived until you've tried onion rings made with it. Not greasy at all and incredible!

It works great in baking except being a little soft for some recipes (especially in summer ) because it melts at like 74 degrees. If that's an issue just use 1/2 vcno and 1/2 butter.
The only thing I haven't cared for with it is scrambled eggs. It gives them a bit of a soapy taste but it's great in hot cereal, makes an soup creamier and better tasting and gives me energy

These are the guys I use. They are the experts and the original importer of it. They also use family farms (in Phillipines) and have been a pleasure to deal with.
They also have good sales.

Also it is so important that when you are using skin care you use one line be it Mary Kay or Avon or a Walmart brand. They are formulated to work with one another. Mixing products not designed to work together can cause reactions in some people. ;)

To even out skin tone you of course need to keep your skin exfoliated but also use a solution like our day and night solution. The day solution has SPF 25 in it and the Night Solution has Vitamin A and E and more in them. These collagen inducing products help to tighten and firm the skin as well as even out tone. You can add in our Microdermabrasion once or twice a week to totally exfoliate and remove dead skin. The second step of our microderm set will return your skin to its proper PH balance so you will not be rough or dry afterwards.

I reccomend using products as follows but all skin care must be customized for an individual.

Timewise 3 in 1 Cleanser (customized for skin type)
Timewise Day Solution (at night use Night Solution)
Timewise Moisturizer (customized for skin type)
Timewise Firming Eye cream
Additional moisturizers if needed(intense for dry spots etc)
Foundation (customized for skin type and shade)
Color products (use all oil free and non-comedogenic)

Hope this was helpful!!

Men's skin care products?

mrmojorisi

I am a 20 year old male and I am looking into male hygiene products, especially for my face. All of the products and their uses are confusing to me. Could someone please explain the various skin care products, their uses, and possible list some specific products for me to consider?

Answer
As a man, you have an advantage with skincare because men's skin tends to be thicker and oilier than women's. Men also typically shave which acts as a form of exfoliation so you are less likely to wrinkle on those areas. With that said, below is what I recommend. I added an example of what I use personally to help guide you but it is by no means necessary for you to purchase those items. I just like them personally because I purchased everything at Target except for one item and they are all relatively affordable. Just make sure you do this twice a day (morning and before bed). I know I am a woman but I recommend all this to both sexes because it will work.

1. Cream cleanser. Use this with absolutely no water. Simply apply all over your dry face in circular motions, avoiding the eyes. You can then rinse it off with water or a damp washcloth but be sure not to use any water when you are first working this on your face. Ex: Boots Botanics Organic Facial Cleanser $7.99 at Target.
2. Alcohol-free toner. Squirt onto a couple of cotton pads and wipe all over your face, avoiding the eyes. Ex: Boots Expert Sensitive Gentle Refreshing Toner $3.99 at Target.
3. Daytime moisturizer and night cream. During the day you need a moisturizer to act as a barrier for your skin to hold in moisture. At night you need a cream that will replenish the moisture you lost throughout the day. Ex: Boots Expert Sensitive Light Moisturizing Lotion for day from Target (don't remember the price but I know it's around $8) and Boscia Recharging Night Moisture from Sephora which is $44. Night creams are more expensive and the right ones are difficult to find. Read the ingredients to make sure mineral oil isn't one of the ingredients for the night cream you choose as that will not penetrate the skin.
4. Eye cream. Use an amount about half the size of a grain of uncooked rice (yes, very little). Rub this between both ring fingers and then gently tap it on the bone surrounding the eye moving all the way up to above your brows. Never rub this all over your eyelids. Eyes age the most and the fastest so eye cream will help prevent premature aging. You should use one even if you are young and don't have wrinkles yet. Ex: Boots Botanics Organic Face Moisturizing Eye Cream $14.99 from Target.
5. Yogurt. Go to the grocery store and pick up a lemon, orange, or pineapple flavored yogurt (make sure the yogurt isn't the kind with fruit at the bottom but is actually that fruit flavor) and then apply it all over your clean face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. You can then rinse it off with lukewarm water. The active cultures in yogurt will help neutralize the bacteria in your pores so it will help heal any blemishes you have currently and also help prevent new ones. The citric acid from the lemon, orange, or pineapple will also help dissolve the top layer of your skin (just like using a scrub to exfoliate but much more gentle). You can do this every day if your skin is really bad or just 1-2 times a week as a preventative measure.

I hope this has helped but if you have a question, need me to clear something up, or want to know why I recommend each product, please feel free to e-mail me. You can do so through my profile.

Mix Candle wax with Mustard oil and heat. Now apply this gently on the cracked areas of the heels. Wear socks over this, leave overnight and wash in the morning.

Body Lotions and Masks for smooth and soft skin

Body Lotions - A body lotion is a low to medium viscosity preparation intended for application on external skin and body, usually after bath. Many lotions, especially hand and face creams can be classified as cosmetics and not medicine. Its main purpose is to smoothen and soften the skin.

Given below are some beauty tips and ways to prepare body lotions.

Mix 1 table spoon of lime juice with 1 table spoon of Glycerin and 1 table spoon of rose water. Mix well and store it in a glass bottle. Apply daily half an hour before a bath or apply at bedtime and wash in the morning before bath.
In Winter season, right after a bath while the skin is still wet, rub some Baby oil into the skin gently to avoid dryness.
Make a paste with 2 tablespoons of oats and 1 tablespoons lime juice and milk. Apply on the body and wash after 5 minutes before a bath.
Take 1 cup of fresh rose petals with half a cup of milk. Add 1 teaspoon of gram flour and some Rose water. Make a paste and apply on arms and legs before bath. Wash after 10 minutes.
Mix 1 teaspoon Vaseline with 1 teaspoon Glycerin and leave overnight. This is good for dry skin and also during winter season.
Mix 1 teaspoon of Vaseline with 1 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil and 1 teaspoon of Glycerin and apply over the entire body. Have a bath after an hour repeat this for a week or two.

Home Made Mask for Hands and Feet :

Ingredients:

Papaya - Half cup
Pineapple - Half cup
Avocado - Half cup
Honey 4 tablespoons
Bran 1 cup
Procedure - Make a paste out of the above ingredients and apply till elbows for hands and ankles for feet. Wash after it gets dried up. This helps to get soft and supple skin.

What is better having an online store or selling on eBay?

tara lynn

I have an eBay store but thought about making just an online store to try out. Anyone have luck with yourownonlinestore.net? I heard dropshipping works well with online stores. Anyone have any luck doing so? Also, are there any good dropshippers who sell beauty and health products? Thanks so much! Hope to get some good answers!

Answer
OK, here's the skinny. I always recommend to start with an eBay store and the main reason is traffic. I know A LOT of people that have proceeded counter to my advice, started their own .com store and then come asking how to get traffic. eBay has millions of users running through listings everyday. You can focus on growing your business, sorting out your items, drop ship partners etc... and then expand to your own store. Then, you have a solid customer base, some sales and money under your belt and you can fund your new .com store and work on generating traffic to it while your eBay business runs on autopilot in the background.

tv series : original vs remake v old v new knight rider old knight rider new battlestar gallactia old or?

e

new. bionic woman old or new 90210 old or new . thats all i can think of

Answer
Consensus agrees: Original.

Here's what I said recently on another forum, about the V remake:

Well, the OLD "V" did get the soap opera slant, in "The Final Battle" -- the original (1983) did not soap itself up.

And the old "V" did some things right:

1. Plot pacing. It's not choppy and puts more equal time on all situations. The new one goes from scene to scene to scene, very rapidly, (except for the shuttlecraft bit)

2. Old "V" did not have CGI, but in the new one it's painfully obvious what's CGI. Right down to the robot that sends killer needles at everybody... for that matter, why do the new aliens not have laser guns to ensure the humans can't defeat them?! (See "logic" below for more...)

3. Logic. You know, if the FBI people can't figure out that the one remaining terrorist cell network running since the arrival of the ships, fire the lot of them. Never mind, if the visitors were here all this time, wouldn't they have anticipated everybody dropping their phones? Amongst other issues. But we'll see in the remaining episodes if they get rid of the scientists or doctors...

4. Uh, soap opera isn't gone. The new series has the young male (with the herpes scar!) going googly-eyed for the visitor girl. Now, the visitor girl appears to have the hots for him. The heavyhanded direction bashes this over our heads. Since when can an iguana have a "romantic instinct" toward a completely disparate species? He-to-her works because she's wearing a skin suit. Her-to-him is asinine. Also see "logic". (maybe it's a hokey medical experiment thing. Maybe not.)

5. Reverb voices. Not present.

6. In-jokes. At the start, the kid says "this is like independence day!" and his friend says "like every other invasion movie". For those of us with an IQ higher than 20, the allegory about the writers not liking what they're doing is obvious.

6b. Speaking of allegory, and maybe this is because the pilot skips through its checklist so amateurishly, the "hope" references are just about passable, but the pun of "universal health care" screams "cheap vapid hot-button topical commentary". Especially as the story still needs to show more than a token 5 seconds of a housing crisis, that is not enough to firmly set up the problems the world wants hope and change FROM! This is still supposed to be fiction and they did it perfectly well in the original, so why couldn't they do it here?

For these and other reasons, I cannot put the new show over the old one. It's "remake-by-numbers" and it's a waste of all the talent involved. Except for the CGI shots, of which every one that isn't centered on the mothership looks incredibly fake.

http://www.pajiba.com/tv_reviews/v-review.php

No arguments against that review.

And a few comments of my own:

At least the original had proper structure and pacing. This sloppy reboot shoves down all the nuance without any grace. Especially turning the journalist guy -- it feels wrong. Forced. Contrived.

But consider: If the CGI death robot looks so phony, imagine how bad laser beams would look!

Even the original, cornball or cliched or not-A-level acting it had, was still made by people who knew plot structure a heck of a lot better. (save for one scene, but I'd rather something have padding than to shove things down peoples' throats.

It's revealed the visitors have been here for decades. Who put them there, undetected, to begin with? It tries to be big but it's all really small; it stumbles over its own logic because it hasn't got any logic. Then again, we have the CGI spear-spewing robot that has a limited arsenal and in comes visitors with knives (uh, ray guns would ensure you lot wouldn't lose... UGH! AWFUL!)

Indeed, a properly-paced setup might make the gibber about "hope" more believable and less like a cheap allegory. Oh, some token "housing prices" and other topical issues are briefly mentioned at the start. But that tokenism is too brief to even BE tokenism.

Okay, the priest guy doing his spiel about taking the time to read things -- the writer (and it's not Kenneth Johnson, the other name) can't be a republican because most of us saw through McCain fairly quickly...

Not to mention the 5th columnist who shows up - like the not-mysterious-terrorist-cell -- the ONLY cell -- to continue once the motherships appear, the guy who says his past is behind him. How much more obvious can they make these things, never mind it's a reboot so everybody already knows the gimmick... indeed, the visitors - if they are so shrewd - would know all this already. I'm not buying any of this. Even better pacing would render some of these obvious whoopies nowhere near as bad.

And the author is right, the only surprise left is when it's revealed they're storing people as food. Whoop-dee-doo.

i will suggest you to use a brand new product in USA: oslee sleeping masks, this is a good product that is new in USA, it calls sleeping masks, it has 5 different species: Whitening sleeping mask, Oil Controlling Sleeping Mask, Dark Circle Reducing Sleeping Mask, Pore-Refining Sleeping Mask and Clear Spa Sleeping Mask Advanced Formula. You can put some of the sleeping masks on your face before you sleep and then wash it the next day. i used it and it really improve my skin problems like: acne and black head. The sleeping masks are a very fabulous product that can save a lot of time for women because you just use your sleeping time to take care your skin that why i share with all of you but the only way i can buy them are on ebay and also the are under $10 so they are very cheap, hopefully you will try them and solve your skin problems

here is the link for the cheaper sleeping masks but she only have two species of the sleeping masks:

Do you agree black women are least likely to wear makeup and skin care products vs other races of women?

Lovely Bun

http://www.edgesanfrancisco.com/index.php?ch=style&sc=grooming&sc2=news&sc3=&id=31557

that is what this article says

I think that it is true. I don't wear any makeup, and most of the black women i've dealt with either didn't wear makeup at all, or just wore that eye makeup

This goes to show that black women are most likely to have natural beauty

Answer
Wow....you really are an extreme racist. Just as many black women wear make up as any other. Get a life.

Over 30 skin care routine?

Labels:

mimster

I need a skin care routine that deals with combination skin over 30, more prominent wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, and quite a few blackheads on the nose. A step-by-step routine with product suggestions would be appreciated!

Answer
Combination skin can be tricky and one of the best ways of dealing with it is to use the method which the German skin guru Dr Hauschka advises. It's very simple, effective and cost efficient: only moisturise your skin during the day and leave your skin bare of any products at night. By leaving off your skin cream, the skin will produce its own natural moisture and in so doing, balance your skin better. It may take a couple of weeks for you to see a difference and any dry areas may feel a little tight to begin with but persevere and eventually, you'll find that your skin balances out better.

Because you won't be moisturising at night, you can be generous during the day. For combination skin, I recommend you use Mir products which are rich in anti-ageing ingredients but light on the skin and non-comedogenic (which means they won't clog your pores or aggravate your blackheads). Part of the product line is argan oil but don't be alarmed, this is not a greasy or clogging product, it goes on silky smooth and your skin will absorb it easily. Everyone I've recommended it to raves about it and has seen a difference in their skin in a matter of weeks. You simply mix a drop or two into Mir moisturising cream. Alternatively, try the Mir Skin Silk lotion which already contains argan oil so it's been pre-mixed for you.

Eye creams are a con - a way for cosmetics companies to sell more products so don't waste your money. But you do need an ultra gentle, high quality product that will not cause your eyes to puff up - which is usually a reaction to the chemicals in skin creams or eye products. Mir skin products are so gentle that they double up as eye creams so you can use a single product over your whole face.

Cleansing is of vital importance and there is a beauty secret to achieving perfectly clean skin, free of blackheads but without drying it or stripping it. I've written about this at length in my blog and it has transformed my own skin so I can't praise it highly enough. Go to www.sofarsoyoung.com and look at the post entitled 'How Clean is Your Skin?' in which you will find details of my secret solution: microfibre cloths. These were invented by doctors so you can rest assured that you are using something safe, effective and kind to skin. Your skin will be cleaner and clearer than ever.

Toner is not necessary if you cleanse correctly but if you want to use one, Mir do a good toner for combination skin which contains natural rose water - this is a gentle but effective astringent for combination skin but won't dry the skin out. Caudalie do a very nice toner for sensitive skin too (which you can use to remove eye make-up gently) but if you use a microfibre cloth, you won't need toner or an exfoliating product as the cloth will do all that for you and will help balance your combination skin. Exfolation is very important, especially in clogged areas (where you have blackheads). A micro fibre cloth will exfoliate your skin like nothing else and will do it ultra gently without any risk of damaging the skin.

If you go to 'Our Star Selection' on my blog, you'll see other product recommendations and the website for Mir products.

Finally, to prevent further wrinkles, wear a high sunblock every single day. SPF 15 in winter and SPF 30 in summer. And don't forget to pat it around your eyes to stop any further crows feet. 85% of skin ageing is caused by the sun so an SPF is your skin's best friend. They can clog pores so only use mineral powder (the best is Jane Iredale and she does a mineral sunblock, you'll find sources for Jane Iredale products on my blog) or try the Australian brand Invisible Zinc, as recommended by Elle Macpherson, Jerry Hall and Georgia May Jagger.

I don't sell anything, these are simply my own recommendations based on experience. I'm almost 44 and I don't have a single line or wrinkle on my face so trust me, my method works!

Good luck.

13 year old skin care..... Please Answerrr. 5 stars best answer...?

Q. Ok what at most should a 13 year old girl use for skincare? I would like to use more then just a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. I would like to use as much as I can but only if it benefits me. I am afraid that if I use higher end products like bobbi browns hydrating face cream or MAC products then my skin will grow "immune" to the products and wont work for me when I am 20 or 30 when I might really need it.
Ok here is a list of skincare products. If you think it should be in my skincare then just type the number beside it. Or you could spell it outt.......
Also, please leave your opinion on this. And try to give me reason of why you think this!!! Also Im not stupid.....I wont put wrinkle "helpers" or anything having to do with wrinkles.

List:
1.night moisturizer ( basically a thicker moisturizer like bobbi brown hydrating face cream)
2.moisturizer (day)
3.body moisturizer
4.neck moisturizer
5.eye (treatment) ( usually consists of eye rollers or anything thats not an eye cream or gel)
6.skin booster ( Things like MAC Fix+ or Sprays, Gels and creams that contain healthy properties )
7.Baby Wipes
8.cleanser
9.clarisonic mia
10.toner
11.mask(s)
12.exfoliator
13.lip balm
14.acne gel or spot treatment
15.eye cream
16.skin serum

Ok thxx if you actually put in effort for this question!!!
wowwww.... I do eat healthy
I dont actually use all of this!! I honestly just use a cleanser a toner and a moisturizer!. And 2 masks every week or so. I am just curious on how much I should take care of my skin.. I am not by any means OCD but thats how I think i sorta feel with skin and hair etc. I just really like pampering myself!!

Answer
Everyone has different skin tone so I can't really tell you what you should use. Skin tones Like oily or dry skin, Easily irritated skin, etc... So I advise you to go a beauty clinic store. I go to sephora and they helped me and my Sis a lot. We tell them what our problem is or what kind of skin we have and they recommend products that fits to your problem/skin. And they give you samples if you want to try it first. You can find a sephora store on google or other search engines. Hope I helped :)

Names for a health and beauty products company?

Labels:

Stephanie

I need to come up with a company name for a new health and beauty products company. The product line ranges from body soaps to hand lotions to various beauty products. More than just your average convenience store brand, something slightly more upscale, yet affordable. Any names you can think of would help. Thanks!

Answer
How about something modern day? Like just your first or middle name.

What name should i name my beauty company?

missywillh

my beauty company is basically dependent on remedies and natural products. Also, it has a fitness side to it. It is a luxury membership club. Basically, a social place and a lifestyle.

so i want a company name...something short, easy, nn memorable ...or like somethin in another language like beauty in FRench Beauté

i was thinking something like this company:

j' Beauty lies within. (j is pronounced zshe)

my slogan collection:
Beauty lies within.
Beauty that captures attention.
Beauty is art.
Beauty is confidence.
Beauty brings confidence.
Beauty that can be felt.
Beauty is not physical.
Eternal Beauty.
Live to discover beauty.
Beauty is wisdom.
Unbearable beauty.
Beauty is not caused. It is.
Health is wealth.
Body; the only place you have to live. Take care of it.
Beauty is bliss.
Health is self-fulfillment.

............................i need inspiration!!! =)
