Q. I am currently on co-cyprindiol tablets and are mainly for skin care but act a a concraceptive pill also. i was just wondering how long does it take for the concraceptive side to kick in? is it as soon as you start taking or longer?

i think when you first start a birth cntrl or switch brands it takes 7 days for it to be effective. Don't rely on it working for the first month tho just in case, so you if you are having sex use condoms at least for the first month
