It is not kulonji. It is kalonji. It is called nigella seeds or black cumin in English. Yes, it is good for men's health. Here are the details: http://www.besthealthandbeautytips.com/2013/06/health-and-beauty-tip-with-nigella.html?m=1 _

any tips on growing my nails out?
Saleena
im growing out my nails but they grow so slow! and they always seem to chip :/
Answer
Growing nails comes from: your good genes, good nail care, and all the healthy foods you eat everyday from Mother Nature.
Beauty products don't make nails grow. Eating does. Babies can do that just by drinking their milk. People giving advice on YA! should list their sources.
You really are what you eat. If you're eating all the healthy foods from Mother Nature - not made by man or woman or supplements from GNC, your hair, nails, teeth, and the rest of your body will benefit too. You get all your vitamins & minerals from your diet. Your hair's fine. You're health's fine, so are your nails. Man-by man vitamins can do more harm than good. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesnât have to approve supplements â no agency in the United States does. Because of inadequate quality control and inspection, supplements contaminated with heavy metals, pesticides, or prescription drugs have been sold to unsuspecting consumers. And FDA rules covering manufacturing quality donât apply to the companies that supply herbs, vitamins, and other raw ingredients.
Beginning in February 2008, they experienced one symptom after another: diarrhea, joint pain, HAIR LOSS, lung problems, and fingernails and toenails that fell off. FDA has received numerous reports of harm associated with the use of these products, including stroke, liver injury, kidney failure, heart palpitations, and death. 3-15-11
Google: MSN "Vitamins Can Do More Harm Than Good."
CNN, Slate, Consumer Reports, MSN, YAHOO have posted them online for years how people spend $20 billion per year on vitamins and supplements. According to Everyday Health, here's an article that will tell you why . . . those PRODUCTS by any other name do NOT WORK. It is false advertisements.
Google: Are Supplements Good For You? About 3,350,000,000 results results (0.13 seconds)
THEN Google: Are vitamins & supplements good for you? About 230,000,000 results (0.17 seconds). Some can actually shorten your life!
If you're as healthy as a horse and ALREADY doing all that, then there is nothing more you can do.

My Hubby, my SIL and their mom ALL have the same nails and break easily and hubby and I have eaten the same foods for over 39 years. Then it's from your genes.
Get a manicure to a good salon, or do them yourself. You can protect them by using one of those plastic gloves. I use gloves often: for chores, gardening, handling papers, going outside during winter, spring & fall, and kitchen, painting, crafting, etc. That way I don't have to wash my hands often.
Gel can harm your nerves. Google gel manicure warnings. About 456,000 results (0.17 seconds). Specially bad if your nails have problem growing or chip easily.

Answer
There were totally 15 moles / black spots on my face and body before, I tried this mole remover and most of my moles were gone right now. But please pay attention, donât over use in order to avoid getting scar. Hope it works for you too.
For more information, please see the following using methods, it is very useful for unwanted moles, beauty marks, black spots.
BRAND NEW DIY MOLE VANISH WART REMOVER
10 ML Skin Care non-Laser Removal
Usage:
(1) Clean the nevus and the area around it, use a toothpick (do not use a cotton stick to tip or wipe) to mix the liquid and sediment, and then tip a little amount of the mole remover and apply it onto the middle of the nevus. The area would turn to white colour after 1 minute. Use alcohol or water to clean the mole area after 10 minutes (If you tip the amount of mole remover properly, you don't have to clean). The mole would peel off (May help with finger) in 8 to 20 days. Repeat the process again until the mole peeling off if the colour of the nevus is dark. (it is suggested applying the liquid to nevus on hands or legs first to see the results and learn to control the usage before applying the liquid to other areas of the body, DON'T TRY on FACE for the first time!)

Health, home magazines etc......?
Q. Our class is having a debate on whether magazines are good and bad. I'm supporting them. Does anyone have some supporting ideas on why magazines are good??? (ex: All magazines other than...um, men magazines if you know what i mean.) Thanks. :)
Answer
Magazines are good because they have:
-healthy bonuses (like, health mags have tips towards having a healthier lifestyle)
-political and news magazines have a lot of controversy and if you want to be up-to date with everything, you can subscribe to Maclaens or something (dunno how to spell that mag!!)
-Beauty magazines are actually good and amusing because they have advice colomns, quizzes etc. and you can look at them in a car or sometime when youre bored
-Porn mags...nvm youre doing this at school, sorry :P
-And every other magazine has something you can learn from. Maybe not indended to learn something but it can be stored in the back of your brain :)

Is there anything that makes you hair grow faster, and healthier?

I always ask all these people how their hair grows so fast, and they dye it and cut it all the time. They always reply to me saying; I have a special shampoo, or a remedy.
Is there any specific shampoos or anything?
Answer
There is no sure fire way to make your hair grow faster, there aren't any magic potions that will help you - just nature with a friendly boost.
2
MAINTAIN A HEALTHY DIET. This is the foundation to having healthy hair (and healthy anything else). This means eating balanced meals with plenty of protein and iron (two of the buildings blocks for hair growth). You will also want to exercise regularly to increase your body's blood flow.
3
TAKE A DAILY MULTI-VITAMIN. This will assist in keeping your body balanced and replenish any vitamins that you aren't receiving from eating. One of the first things to suffer from a poor diet is your hair. Take, for example, people with eating disorders - they tend to always have thinning, weak, and very unhealthy hair because the body is saving the nutrients for more important tasks.
4
DO NOT WASH YOUR HAIR EVERYDAY. For some odd reason, people have been fooled into believing that you need to wash your hair everyday, and that is unhygienic to do otherwise - simply not true.
The natural oils in your hair are a vital part of protecting it and keeping it strong and healthy. If you wash these oils away with harsh shampoos(which is most of them), you leave your hair vulnerable to pollution, heat damage, and any other daily stresses that can do damage.
5
INVEST IN "NO POO" SHAMPOOS. Normal shampoos can actually be very damaging to your hair, especially if you already have dry or damaged hair. Try a shampoo that doesn't have all the chemicals, try something from the DevaConcepts line.
Most shampoos contain Alcohol, isopropyl, which dries out hair, Propylene glycol and butylene glycol, which are petroleum plastics, and Sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate, which are detergents.
Deva products are 100% sulfate free and botanically infused with natural moisturizers.
6
TREAT YOUR HAIR LIKE A FRIEND. One of the biggest mistakes in hair care is treating your hair like its invincible.
Try not to use heat styles too often - excessive straightening and blow drying will damage your hair, no matter how amazing the flat iron is.
But all the while, do invest in a good flat iron, it can do LESS damage than a cheap one. I suggest the GHD or the Chi.
7
TREAT YOUR HAIR LIKE A FRIEND #2.
Avoid tying your hair in tight hair ties or corn rows - this can stress your hair and cause breakage. Try loose braids instead.
Especially for dry hair, try wrapping it in a silk cloth before going to bed, or invest in silk or satin pillow cases - your hair can snag on cotton and the cotton also dries out your hair.
8
START WITH THE ROOTS. You can't have healthy growth if you don't have healthy roots.
Massage your scalp to increase blood flow.
Avoid styling that involves pulling your hair at the roots.
Keep your scalp clean and moisturized (this means lay off of the excessive hair products).
9
REDUCE BREAKAGE. Often enough, your hair could be growing quickly but you'd never know if it keeps breaking off.
If you have split ends, make sure you get rid of them - trim your hair every few weeks. this also applies to damaged ends.
Always take time to detangle - use a wide toothed comb and start and the end of the hairs and slowly work your way up to your scalp.

So Ive been having a problem during sex with my girlfriend... I can't seem to stay hard to get inside her. I don't know what much to do about it, its not the first time this happened.
I get turned on doing everything prior to insertion but the moment i get out a condom and try to put it on i go soft.. Its embarrassing. I don't want this to keep happening, and i don't know why it happens. So Ive been thinking penis enlargement pills or something along the lines of Viagra or something.
Id hate to resort to that but right now tips would help too. Please help.
Yes I am implying something like viagra because it would keep me hard for her, and hopefully to put a condom on which is my main issue. Every time i try i get soft. Its the most frustrating and embarrassing thing. I can last a really long time too but i can hardly show her that because i cant stay hard. I always manage to please her though by fingering her.

What is your secret to staying youthful-looking? Any lotions or facial creams you use?
Answer
*Any cream simply applied to skin is not going to do very much if anything at all. And many so called anti aging creams and countless other skincare and maintenance products have toxic, skin harming, skin aging ingredients. Some cause itchy, blistery skins, rashes and even acne.(Confirm with a Google search).
To maintain skin health and keep it young looking there is no safer, quicker acting treatment than thoroughly massaging with essential oils. They feed skin many nurturing nutrients. See results even in one day.
If face muscles, like any muscles, are not exercised or conditioned they weaken with age, resulting in sagging, loss of skin tightness in turn leading to wrinkles and lines.
First tighten face so to avoid skin pulling by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth. Then massage quite vigorously with a forward and back motion (not circular) using tips and front fingers and sometimes palms. Tightening of face and massage exercises /conditions face muscles whilst skin is being firmed, smoothed and conditioned by massage. In a few days skin will visibly tighten, will look and feel smoother, firmer and revitalized. It can rejuvenate entire face.
While maintaining tightness, focus massage on any wrinkles, lines and crows feet. It will quickly not just fade them a little, but greatly minimize them and largely prevent/inhibit others forming. See clearly noticeable results in just one week. See my many answers giving detailed info for specific wrinkle diminishing. Best find with an Answers Advanced Search. Enter "Mukunda M ANSWERS ONLY sagging, wrinkles, eye lines, crows feet, tighten, rejuvenate ". Then choose "Any of these words": "Best Answers" " Beauty and Style" "Skin And Body", "Other -Skin & body" and In Question Status select "All".
Oils are perfect moisturizers. You will need no other one.
I halted my premature graying hair and partially restored color with daily olive oil scalp massaging and vigorous brushing.*

Is there anything that makes you hair grow faster, and healthier?
Jordan

How to keep your hair healthy?
Ashley
I want to know how to keep my hair full and healthy. Please give me tips like, Put ......... in your hair.
Answer
1. Blow dry for 5 mins, use a diffuser if you have wavy hair or use two or three towels to absorb some of the water, stand by the heater or air fan instead of blow drying your hair. Brush your hair when it's 99 1/2% dry.
2. Frequent brushing, when you hear a snap, your hair is breaking & splitting, and you're making your hair weaker is not so good for your hair. Don't brush when it's wet. Finger comb is best or wide tooth comb.
3. If you have curly or wavy hair, comb using your fingers just be gentle with your hair, they frizz easily.
4. If you have long hair, don't pile it on top of your head when you shampoo. Keep your head down, let the water drain to the ends of your hair. Massage shampoo on your head, while keeping the hair down, then move the suds towards the tips of the hair, massaging to get the dirt out. Rinse allowing the water to fall from top to the tips of your hair, then reverse the hair to the back of your head.
5. Use bottled water, if you have hard water, instead of conditioner, to rinse.
6. Wash it 2x a week, if it's greasier you're over conditioning it.
7. The sun is drying to the skin, so does the hair. Protect them by covering them with a wide brim hat.
8. Healthy hair means: no chemicals, no hair straightening tools, and eating all the healthy foods from Mother Nature, not made by man.
9. Cutting the split ends, strand by strand, section by section 5-10 mins on a sunny day helps maintain the health of the hair using 2" scissors. Then 2x a year, get a good hair cut.
10. You can grow long hair down to your feet, if it's healthy. You get more benefits having a egg salad using the mayo & egg in a sandwich than using them on your hair. They do very little for damaged hair.

I know hair. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80's & 90's. I've known people in their 30's whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70's. I don't use conditioner on my hair, just the cheapest shampoo money can buy when it's on sale - Garnier for Normal Hair. I trim my hair 1" a month, 4" 2x a year.

What are some good foods that are easy to make or find?
What are some good vitamins you can take to help? how long does it take to go through your body and start working?
I know hair doesn't grow 3 inches over night, it takes time. I'm interested in your tips or ideas on the questions I just asked. Thank you for your help!
Answer
It may grow slowly or none at all if you've straightened it in the past. You get the strength & all your vitamins & minerals & proteins FREE from the good foods you eat from Mother Nature, not made by man like John Frieda or GNC, and no shampoo can help grow hair, not even those made for horses. Horses don't abuse their hair, using heating tools, and they eat better than people, but it won't add more hair & make their hair longer faster.Shampoo intended for animals may contain insecticides or other medications for treatment of skin conditions or parasite infestations such as fleas or mange. These must never be used on humans.
Save your money instead of buying hair growth products or supplements. Vogue Dec. 2010 issue has a section on biotin, supplements, etc. .
The FDA don't even approve of them.

According Dr. Melissa Piliang, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. Americans spent an estimated $176 million on hair loss products last year, and chances are some of that money was not well spent. Donât let charming salon owners, seductive ads or fancy gimmicks convince you otherwise.

Growing healthy hair doesn't come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you're in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you're eating healthy foods. But when hair isn't growing as fast, it's because they've been tempered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . .

Google: "Foods for Healthy Hair" - the website had moved, type it in. Two others also:

Growing healthy hair doesn't come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you're in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you're eating healthy foods. But when hair isn't growing as fast, it's because they've been tempered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . .

I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80's & 90's. I've known people in their 30's whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70's. When I was in HS, my hair grew from bob to waist length in 3 1/2 to 4 years, and cut 2x a year.
I am an undergrad student in my third year and am starting to hate my major, should I change it?
Kelsey Bro
Basically: I switched to anthropology because I love it. I still love it, but I absolutely HATE all of the writing that the discipline entails. It's not something I considered when switching. And now that I'm in my third year, I feel not only as though I haven't learned any important skills to help me through this area of study, but I feel depressed and hopeless for now hating something I once loved. I am an intelligent person with an amazingly open mind, and I also happen to have quite a positive outlook in most situations. However, academic writing is neither my forte nor my passion. Sometimes I become so discouraged that I want nothing more than to drop out of school and go work on a farm (which I think I would actually enjoy, by the way), but I realize that I am also not a quitter. If I were, I would have given up on life many years ago and would not be here today continuing to try my hardest at everything I am faced with.
My question now is this: Do I continue in this area of study and bullshit through all of the papers until I find exactly what I CAN offer to the discipline? Or do I take a risk and change to another major? The only issue with changing my major is that I have no idea what I would switch to. Going into college, I was terrified because I didn't feel like I was good at anything, especially math and science. Anything involving either was immediately thrown out. I knew I didn't want to study history anymore than I already had, so I settled on English. I love English, and was planning on becoming an editor. But when I took my first anthropology class (never having heard of it before), I fell in love. And that's why I feel like I should stay.
So maybe my ACTUAL question is: How do I get through a major I love while being required to do something I hate over and over again? I try to stay as positive as I can when asked to write book reviews or research papers, but I get angrier and more discouraged with every one. And keep in mind that (if you haven't been able to tell), I'm not necessarily a bad writer. I'm just NOT a writer.
What are my skills?
Reading. Listening. Understanding. Finding beauty in all things, people, and places. Encouraging others. Organizing. Navigating. Asking questions. Lots of questions. Maybe there are some other things I could list, but so far you may recognize that all of these are traits many people have, and these traits are not enough to set me apart and get me through school and onto finding a job all on their own.
So again, I am pretty much stuck. I feel as if all options will lead me to distress. Now that you have (if you have) read all of this, maybe you can share some insight on my conundrum and help me out of it.
Anyone?

If you were my daughter, and you had no idea of what to do in lieu of your current course work, I would advise you to complete your degree. And, I would remind you that GPA is important for hiring and graduate school selection.
You should probably look into testing as to your personality traits, which can suggest occupational fields generally associated with those traits. Carl Jung theorized on personality types, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator testing attempts to identify various human traits and indicates what career fields are appropriate for each type.
Whether or not an individual can perform the duties of any position well may be dependent upon their abilities and personality traits, except that even good performance my produce excessive stress for one not suited to that particular job. Working in a position requiring emotional strengths contrary to one's traits increases stress; which can result in physical and psychological problems. From the characteristics described, you may be suited for work with non-profit organizations, and an anthropology degree would not seem to be detrimental, and may be advantageous.

BTW: Compared to most of the questioners here, your writing is excellent.

Men over 40: How do you deal with aging? Grey hairs, bags under eyes, face falling, how do you stay youthful?
James.
