Make up and Skin care tips?

The Crazy
does anyone have some good skin care tips? You know to get rid of blemishes? Also I wanted some cute make up tips. I'm only in middle school so I'm not wanting to put a load of make up on. Thanks.
Oh im in middle school too.
Tip #1 (for your eyes to POP):If you have green eyes, try out purple eye shadow shades such as lavender, violet, or amethyst. Keep the color sheer so it won't look garish. For eyeliner, a deep plum is perfect.
If you have blue eyes, go for a warm copper, burnished gold, or rich brown eye shadow. Chocolate is an excellent shade choice for eyeliner.
If you have brown eyes, opt for cool blue or green eye shadow tones like mint, powder blue, or teal. A deep forest green is an ideal eyeliner shade.
Tip # 2 (Fullness eyelash uh mascara)
Step 1: WIGGLE.
Wipe excess mascara off the brush head, then place it under the very base of your lashes so it's gently touching your eyelid. Now wiggle the bristles back and forth a few times. The wiggle motion thoroughly coats and separates your lash roots, making them look as thick as possible.
Step 2: SWOOP.
Slowly stroke the mascara from roots to ends. Let dry for a few seconds, then apply a second coat.
Step 3: TOP OFF.
Lightly swipe the very tips of your lashes a third time to maximize their length.
Tipd #3 (how to look good when you have a cold)
Double up on moisturizer
Sick skin means a dry, dull complexion. For an instant fix, Brown advises wearing two moisturizers at once. Apply a lightweight hydrating cream first, then layer on a rich balm. I like: Neutrogena Oil-Free Fresh Ultra-Light Moisturizer and Decléor Aromessence Essential Balm. This combination smoothes and plumps skin, leaving it luminous and fresh. Be sure to down plenty of water it will keep you and your skin hydrated.
Use concealer to hide a sleepless night
If you were up all night coughing, fake a restful night's sleep by using a yellow-based concealer to neutralize any redness or darkness under your eyes. I like: Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Creamy Concealer Kit. Use a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your foundation then layer on a yellow-toned powder on top. If you are porcelain pale, use a white-toned powderâyellow tones look unnatural on super-pale skin
TIP #4!!! throwing out your old makeup gahh
lipstick if it 5 years you had that thing grr throw it away all the bacteria is growing if you dont use it try to tell your mom or anyone
foundation and sunscreen if it been 2 years throw it away
Mascaras should be tossed if it hasn't been all used up after 3 months, and eyeliners after 6 months.
Tip #5 got it off of some website about acne
*A superficial pimpleâthe kind that is on the surface of your skin and can be tempting to popâcan be cured by using a spot treatment that contains the maximum amount of either salicylic acid (2%) or benzoyl peroxide (10%). Treat your pimple morning and night, and bring down any swelling by icing it for 10 minutes. These tactics should zap your zit within a day or two, and in the meantime you can keep it covered with a blemish-fighting concealor.
*If you're cursed with a cystic pimpleâthose are the ones that are imbedded deep in your skin and can be painful when you press itâyou'll need to visit your dermatologist to see fast results. A quick cortisone injection will shrink that volcano down within a day.
TIP #6 remeber to clean your pillow case
Remember to rotate your pillow and change your pillow case regularly to avoid exposing your face to dirt and bacteria every night.
You should also avoid using fabric softener sheets in the dryer which contain chemicals and oils that can irritate sensitive skin.

What are some skin care tips?

Nataliah
I guess I dont really have acne,
but my skin isn't like... perfect, do you know what i mean?
like I dont have anything to horrible.
if your up close to me a i have a tiny bit of acne.
do you have any tips for skin care?
face cleaners?
moisturizers?
also i swim, so whats some tips for keeping dryness away?
i have combination skin. so it's like, oily but it dries out really easily. i use clean & clear deep action cream cleanser, and clean & clear oil-free dual action moisturizer.
that basically does the trick, but if i have a lot of blackheads i'll use a blackhead mask (again, by clean & clear) or biore pore strips.
that's what i've always done, but everyone's skin is different.

Best skin care tips for a 14 year old?

Anon
I do not use make up or anything like that. never. Js.
What would be some helpful skin care tips for a normal 14 year old like me? :)
Thanks in advance.
Okay. I just wanna tell you that this might be long. but, Im just trying to help :)
Since you are 14, this is a great age to start your skincare routine for better skin at the future. The basic routine for good skin is cleansing, moisturizing and exfoliating routine. For cleansing, you need to have a suitable cleanser. As for me, Im using Clean and Clear's . Clean and Clear specifies for teenagers and it useful for those teen years to fight off acne and spots. As for moisturiser, it depends on your skin type. If you have dry skin, get a moisturiser that has oil in it. But since you are a teenager, and most likely you will have an oily skin, it is best to use an oil free, non comodogenic ( it means it wont block your pores) moisturiser. Im using Clean and Clean Rice Extract moisturiser with SPF15. SPF protects your face from the UVrays of the sun. You need to know that too much sun exposure can lead to acne and a skin condition called papules on face ( google on papules, you'll know what Im talking about). And papules aren't pretty. I had them and they were ugly .So sun protection is needed. Buy a moisturiser with SPF, it's like a two in one thing :)
For exfoliating, facials masks needs to be done. You can try this and prevent future pimples too (Got this tip from my dermatologist) . It is a small sauna for face actually. Try boiling a pot, preferably a metal pot with water. Let it boil and cover it with a lid or anything , so that the heat doesn't escape. After it boils, take the metal pot (still with the lid) and place it on a table, chair or whatsoever .Take a towel, or a blanket and sit down. Cover the whole of your body with the metal pot too. Remove the lid and let the heat out . So now your skin can actually feel the heat . Do not let the heat escape to the surroundings. Do this for about 10 to 15 minutes. Prepare a towel to dab your face from time to time if your face gets too sweaty. Dont rub your skin with the towel, only dabbing is allowed. As rubbing will irritate your skin. After all the heat had been used finished, remove the blanket/cover or whatever you used. Get some water then wash your face with ONLY water. Dont use your facial cleanser yet. After all this, you can use a mask. Clay mask, cucumber mask, or any mask that suits your skin type. In your case, I would suggest a cucumber facial mask or a tomato mask. Because after you do this small sauna thing, your skin pores will be opened ,so if you use a mask now, it will effectively remove all the dirt from face and also kills zits.
As I have mentioned the cucumber and tomato mask, now I will tell you why. Cucumbers hydrate the skin and eliminates dead cells that might accumulate in your pores, causing them to clog and this causes acne. For cucumber mask, just buy a cucumber. Skin it. Squash the skinned cucumber into a nice watery pulp. Apply all over face and let it dry for 10 to 15 minutes until you feel your skin tighten. then rinse off. After using the mask, cleanse your face (Its okay if you dont use your facial cleanser for a day, chemicals arent good anyways. But if you still want to use your facial cleanser, go on. ) I had tried this and it always works. Zits are gone the next day!
You can try tomato mask as well. Just get two tomatoes. Skin em then squash em into a nice watery pulp. Apply on face ,leave it on for 10 minutes then rinse off. Do facial masks with gaps.Like twice a week with 2 days of gaps. For example, use the cucumber mask on Monday, and tomato mask on Thursday. see what I mean? keep doing it and you will see your skin improving :)
These steps are crucial to prevent future acne problems. If you keep doing this, you will have a healthier skin in the future . I had been doing all this since Im 15 , and now my skin is still free of acne although Im now 19. And dont go for chemicals unless you have severe acne problems. They dry out your skin and make the overall condition even worse, always opt for natural remedies . I used those salicyclic, benzoyl peroxide, differin and I regretted it. So I hope you don't. Good luck. Hope you have a better skin.

Skin care tips really do depend on what type of skin you have. Do you have normal, oily, combination, dry or just acne prone?
First off, you need to find a cleanser that works for your type of skin:
-Normal skin can go for gentle cleansers.
-Dry skin needs a cleanser that does not foam up. The less foam your cleanser produces the less drying it is for your skin. If you have dry skin, try a cream cleanser.
-Combination skin needs a cleanser that wont dry out the normal skin on the face but needs to be powerful enough to get rid of the oil in the oily places. Try a gel cleanser or a cream cleanser.
-Oily skin needs a foaming cleanser. It helps get rid of oil more than other cleansers.
-Acne prone skin needs a cleanser with of course, acne fighting ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.
*wash your face TWICE a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Not more, not less.
I have combination skin that is acne prone: I use Neutrogena Acne cream cleanser. I concentrate washing my T-zone.
Secondly, Moisturize after you cleanse.
All skin needs a good moisturizer. Find one that works for your skin type.
I use olay daily moisturizer with spf 15. Protecting your skin from harmful sun damage is a must for healthy, glowing skin! Find a moisturizer with spf 15 or higher. Because I have oily skin around my T-zone area (forehead, nose and chin) i use a sunscreen that contains silicone which helps absorb oil from the surface of my skin so I am less oily than I am without it =)
I use Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunblock in spf 55.
Third of all, Exfoliate!
Pimples are from clogged pores. Exfoliating helps get rid of dead skin cells and leave your skin glowing, soft and smooth! I dont like the idea of exfoliating too often because it sounds harsh. I usually exfoliate once a week with a gentle scrub. Some people exfoliate twice a day! Find what works best for your skin. After you exofliate, make sure you put on some rich moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and glowing.
Bottom line: find what works best for you.
Good luck and have fun!

What are essential skin care tips for new brides to be?

jinx2311
Try the Mary Kay skin care line with customized skin care products for acne etc. The best thing to with your skin is always to keep it clean as well as treating breakouts. This helps prevent breakouts and other issues.
There are five steps to basic skin care:
1. Cleanse
2. Exfoliate
3. Tone/Freshen
4. Moisturize
5. Protect
The Mary Kay 3 in 1 cleanser can do the first three steps in one. The fifth step is protect. You want to use an oil free foundation which our formulas for dry normal combo and oily skin are all oil free. When your skin is protected with foundation you can wash off the impurities that your skin catches in the air. The foundation catches the irritants and impurities instead of them getting into your pores causing further breakouts. Mary Kay is satisfaction guaranteed. So if you try it and it doesnt work for you you can get different products or your money back.
Also it is so important that when you are using skin care you use one line be it Mary Kay or Avon or a Walmart brand. They are formulated to work with one another. Mixing products not designed to work together can cause reactions in some people. ;)
To even out skin tone you of course need to keep your skin exfoliated but also use a solution like our day and night solution. The day solution has SPF 25 in it and the Night Solution has Vitamin A and E and more in them. These collagen inducing products help to tighten and firm the skin as well as even out tone. You can add in our Microdermabrasion once or twice a week to totally exfoliate and remove dead skin. The second step of our microderm set will return your skin to its proper PH balance so you will not be rough or dry afterwards.
I reccomend using products as follows but all skin care must be customized for an individual.
Timewise 3 in 1 Cleanser (customized for skin type)
Timewise Day Solution (at night use Night Solution)
Timewise Moisturizer (customized for skin type)
Timewise Firming Eye cream
Additional moisturizers if needed(intense for dry spots etc)
Foundation (customized for skin type and shade)
Color products (use all oil free and non-comedogenic)
Hope this was helpful!!

What are some good skin care tips from the inside out?

FRANKIE G
Long story short: I looked in the mirror the other day and thought "Dad?". Yeah. I'm getting older.
I would love to hear some tips for skin care that's ingested. Food, drink and supplements, etc.
One thing I don't require is topical skin care tips. I have my lotion and sunblock that I apply daily. I'm good with that.
Take Cod Liver OIl Tablets & Vitamin E Tablets daily.
Eat lots of veggies and fruits for essential vitamins.
Drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice squeezed in it once a day to detox
No fizzy drinks/processed foods. Eat lots of fish & pulses like lentils.
Work out daily, even if its a walk or lifting some weights for a few mins.
Try making your own 'super juices' with veggies and fruit juices mixed up. Try aloe vera juice shots.
Use natural products on your face such as sweet almond oil, or coconut oil. If youve got spots of blemishes use tea tree oil.
Drink green tea daily - as many cups as poss. (6cups per day is recommended).
What is the best skin care product that you have found?

Rachael Co
A friend and I are looking into a bunch of different products to review them on a website. It's got make up tips and skin care tips. The problem is we don't know many of today's products. We tried to Google them but that didn't really tell us what ones were used by the everyday person most.
So if you could let us know what you use, how long you've been using it, how you've liked it, and where we can find more information on the product that would be super helpful.
Thanks a ton!
As odd as this might sound coming from a man, I've learned to love Sculptisse.
What I use: Sculptisse by Leeds Scientific
How long I've been using it: I got it for my wife last year as more of a gag gift. She ended up swearing by it and told me I should try it. I was skeptical at first but after a couple months of her nagging I gave in. It's almost been a year for me and it's been nearly life changing.
How you've liked it: I guess I answered that in the last one. I love it. :)
Where you can find more information: You can visit their site or their company site (both of which I'll post in the sources section) and get all the information you need about Sculptisse.

Certain yoga moves can make your legs look firmer quickly just by doing them the night or morning before. Skin care tips, it depends on what type of skin you have oily, combination, sensitive, dry and if you have acne or not.

4 Simple Tips To Brighten Up Your Skin!
This exfoliation process of dead skin helps you to keep your complexion glowing and youthful.
However, when the blood flow and oxygenation of skin cells is reduced, it mainly results in dull complexion.
Even, if your skin fails in its natural exfoliation process, you can get lifeless complexion. If you are suffering with dull, lifeless skin, here are some simple steps to brighten and rejuvenate your complexion.
1. Supplement your diet!
What you eat and what you include in your regular diet reflects your skin along with your health. So, try to supplement your routine diet with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Don’t forget to include essential vitamins and nutrients, as they play a vital role in improving blood circulation in your body.
2. Moisturize!
A good moisturizer is very important for every one who want brighter and wonderful complexion. Along with your regular sunscreen, you should also consider moisturizers that contain light reflecting pigments.
The added shine makes your skin glow and certainly minimizes sallow complexion and dark circles present, if any.
3. Nourish your skin!
Provide your skin with a refreshing drink with a simple facial mask. The most powerful and essential ingredients for your skin can be found right in your kitchen like honey, oat meal, avocado and many more. Combine one or more with liquids like milk, egg white or aloe vera gel to make a wonderful mask for your dull skin.
4. Drink lots of water and healthy liquids!
When your body becomes dehydrated, skin probably loses its fullness and natural glow. Always ensure that you stay hydrated. Drink lots of water and also include healthy fluids such as milk, fresh fruit or vegetable juice.
Avoid excess intake of alcohol, which will surely promote fluid loss and significantly contributes to lifelessness look of your skin. Try to limit your intake of alcohol to appreciable level.
Follow these simple steps and give more youthful glow to your skin. If you are not satisfied or unclear with the methods, consult any qualified skin expert and seek better suggestions to brighten up your skin.
