P.S ( i know kids get pimples around this age, but I want to just help my skin, not be sooo oily and when I wake up theres not a new giant one smacked on my face :(...........

Answer
Hey!

I would avoid touching my face unnecessarily. Your hands touch many things, and they can pick up oils, debris and germs that could irritate the skin on your face. So try to avoid resting your chin in your hands. If you talk on the phone a lot, wipe the phone down with an antibacterial wipe once in a while so you don't irritate the skin on the side of your face.

Don't overdo it with the anti-acne products; you might want to get some products with salicylic acid (I find benzoyl peroxide products a bit too drying, but it can be good for spot treatments). You might want to get a gentle exfoliating scrub to use once or twice a week, and carry blotting papers with you to absorb oil that develops on your skin's surface throughout the day.

Be sure to eat a balanced diet and drink lots of water.

Most of all: Avoid makeup! My skin improved a ton when I avoided makeup. If you like to wear makeup, try just some mascara on your lashes and some lip gloss or lipstick. You don't need all that powder.... that can clog your pores.

cosmetics/skin care...?

I work for a cosmetics/skin care company that requires me to preform at least 5 "beauty breaks" on customers a week. A beauty break is just a little pick-me-up for the customer...some of the breaks include a hand massage, a neck massage, an eye treatment, and a lip treatment. However, there is hardly any traffic in my store and the people that are in the store, don't really want to be bothered with these little breaks. Any ideas how to get people back to the counter so I can reach my goal?? What should I say?? (what I'm saying now isn't working!)

Answer
You can remind them in the middle of their treatment. This way you won't deal with the grumpiness that they may have when they first walk into the store.

Say something that just eases them into it like; you seem tense. A simple neck massage would do.

Don't talk too long or seem to gimmicky because a lot of people I know {including me) despise that. It seems like you're trying to just sell them something after they get this free treatment.

Just come off as nice, sweet, and that you actually care that they seem tense.....even if you probably don't.
