I don't really wear makeup. Almost never. But I know I don't take proper care of my skin. I'm youngish still, 22. What should a basic daily skin care routine look like? Wash, moisturizer, toner??? Any advice on routine and products is more then welcome :)

Answer
Morning:

1.) gentle foaming cleanser
Purpose gentle foaming gel cleanser and is for sensitive skin and removes makeup

2.) alcohol free toner
Swanson Tea Tree Oil Toner. It is 99% natural (toner is optional, but I use it to restore ph balance of my skin and control my oily skin. Never use a toner with alcohol because it is irritating and drying!

3.) natural oil free moisturizer
Try Pristine Brallywood Butta Intensive Creme. This is an all natural lotion and it is awesome. CHECK THIS ONE OUT ONLINE! YOU WONT REGRET IT! > <

4.) natural mineral sunblock
Try Jason Natural Mineral Sunblock $6.89 at swansonvitamins.com and retail price is $13. Works for sensitive skin) Avoid sunscreen with oxybenzone(hormone imbalance) and retinol(wrinkles). Use avobenzone, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and antioxidants.

Night: gentle foaming cleanser

1.)alcohol free toner

2.)Serum (Jeune D' Age Organics Hydrating, Firming Anti-Aging Serum. OMG BEST NATURAL SERUM EVER! $30 for one month supply. contains 30 packs.)

3.) Use same moisturizer as you use in the day time. Make sure it doesn't contain Spf!

4.) Beauty sleep= healthy, radiant skin

I need some advise on maling products from home?

HERMES

I'm planning on starting my own small business, selling beauty products online from home. Does anyone have any tips or advise on how to mail the products safely? What things do I need to consider when it comes to shipping charges? I don't want to over-charge my customers w/ shipping fees. Which one is more effective, charging S&H fee base on weight or subtotal amount?
This is not for selling on EBAY, I'll have my own website that sell cosmetics and skin care.

Answer
I have found the best way to charge for shipping is actual weight. However, if people are ordering multiple items they will want to know how much shipping is upfront prior to completing their order. In this case, you may want to charge a sliding scale fee for shipping, for example, subtotal is from 0.01 - 9.99 has a shipping charge of $6.00. You can also just say shipping is x% of the subtotal. You don't want to over charge for shipping, but you don't want to incur a loss as a result of shipping either. You can always refund excess shipping charges to the customer in the former of cash or merchandise credit.

As for shipping the actual items....I personally prefer to wrap the item in newsprint and pack the box full of peanuts. For individual items that do not require as much care, the bubble wrapped brown mailers are good too.
