I have a book that says to do these:

Baking Soda--cleanses pores
1 banana mushed up-good calcium source
1/2 cup Sour Cream- don't ask!
1/4 cup Maple Syrup-gives shiny skin
3/4 cup honey- This is the best for your skin!

to get glowing skin after waking up, the night before going to sleep, cover your head with a towel above sink with the hot water running. steam your face for about 5-10mins. trust me. your skin glows the next morning.

oily skin mask: plain yogurt all over the face and leave it for 10mins. it absorbs oil.

dry skin mask: mash bananas with oatmeal and almond essential oil. leave it for 10mins. your skin will be hydrated and supple.

i just realized perhaps you are searching for do it yourself treatments(a good alternative since organic skin care can be a bit pricey) i am still searching for a site but you could try asking in alternative med. under the health tab. you may get more responses there.
