Q. i know they test on animals and i am against that, but someone told me that they changed and now they don't. I really really hope so no brand works as well as cover girl (well that i ca afford) I stoped using Cover girl a few months ago and i miss it. I now use Almay and its good but not as good. so finally the question:
so Did they change it, and are there any other drugstore brands (ONLY) that don't test?

Why is Barack Obama's lead shrinking?

I thought America agreed that we would have the first African American president since the founding of the United States. That this would be a symbol of the progress of the USA in fighting racism and prejudice against black people.

And now McCain made a statement that the people hurting in the economy is more important than racism. And that the people on November 4th will just "forget about racism." That's basically what he said. That's despicable in my opinion!

Why doesn't everybody understands the emotional hurt that comes from subconscious racism discrimination that people face every day because they're non-white?
I'll give you a good example of subconscious racism.

You are in an office working on a spreadsheet and you have to stay after 5pm to get it done. A minority worker paid minimum wage takes out the office garbage and you subconsciously assume your status as an individual towers over this janitor, and you never stop to think......maybe this guy COULD be doing the work I'm doing, but he/she is sweeping floors temporarily while completing a college degree on top of it! We tend to not realize we discriminate.

Yes you are right in the respect that it hurts when you are treated as less just because your race is considered inferior... my family because of being sicilian were discriminated against even driven out of their home...in the good old south ... jackson mississippii, new orleans, louisiana... HOWEVER ...whoever thinks that having a black skinned president (remember he is half white and half black) bought and paid for by likeminded un-American thinkers... influenced from his fatherless childhood by a communist, Frank Marshall Davis and then later on in his life through our ??FINE??? (anti american) usa colleges with anti western culture teachers and literature such as Rules For Radicals by Lipinski... a book Hillary Clinton did a paper on while she attended a ???FINE??? (anti American) usa college!!!, shows the US has made progress they are really blind to the real very dangerous issues this country faces with the acceptance of the policies of the current democratic party... obama and biden are communist,socialist, marxist in their philosophy and that spells hell to a large degree for the once respected and feared USA. I went to nursing school in nyc (new york city) where i was one of 5 white girls, the rest were black and we had a few puerto ricans ... all our instructors were black... trained at bellview (some of them),,, i like many black folks, they are down home, mannerly clean and have other good characteristics...some i know are highly educated and wealthy, doctors, lawyers and such... of course i have met some white folks who are not the kind of people i want to associate with so i am not against black skinned people or other ethnic groups... people are individuals and need to be evaluated on that basis not on their sex race age or other insignificant things... To show we have made progress in this country we would have to elect a whole bunch of different officials... our entire political system would have to be revamped... congress would not be allowed to have access to insider trading in the stock market... how do you think many of these corrupt people got much of their wealth? our country is in a big mess and no politician will be able to turn this country back ... the horrible facts are that this country this world is not going to return to the images of the old movies of Lassie and Father knows Best... we all need to hit our knees because the hand writing is on the wall... mccain may extend the mercy of God in our country but i personally think that since 911 only briefly touched people we need something that is as bad as it is going to get... should obama become the president...with the methods he will inflict upon ALL RACES that live in the usa. If anyone is racist i would say he is in line also... pathetically he is against the black skinned folks... how is he going to provide jobs for anyone if he is going to further tax industries that could provide them... they will outsource and lay off their current workers... causing people to not have jobs and have to join the ranks of welfare receipients ...he is no friend, with his policies, to the black skinned race... welfare is no life... they do not receive much and can not purchase just anything they may want... did you ever have food stamps??? you cant buy soda and some other things... ever apply for welfare... it makes you feel like a dirt bag a number regardless if you have kids to care for or not... have you ever had to live in a shelter??? I personally helped a young black skinned mother of 3 little ones who was dumped in a small city in winter... the county shelter provided a place to sleep from 4pm but by 8am the next day everyone had to be out of the building... where the H E W Q was she suppose to go... besides out into the cold ??? she walked to a church soup kitchen where they gave her and her children breakfast and lunch...
