Answer
what you really asking is if you will have Good luck attending material affairs. Attaining refinement and embracing elegance. Discipline and nobility applied to the maintenance of security and stability. The wise use of resources and foresight. The fulfillment that comes with accomplishment, and the turning of attention to higher things.
The card visible at the center of the cross represents the obstacle that stands in your way - it may even be something that sounds good but is not actually to your benefit. L'Amoureux (The Lovers): A caring and trusting relationship. Beauty and inner harmony. A decision calling for emotional control and faithfulness to spiritual values.
The card at the top of the cross represents your goal, or the best you can achieve without a dramatic change of priorities. Reyne de Deniers (Queen of Coins): The essence of earth behaving as water, such as a hot spring: A warm and generous host, providing shelter and comfort for all who would seek it. A person steadfast, practical, and domestic, able to create opulence and stability in any setting. The qualities of maturity and sensibility, coupled with an innate appreciation for nature and the material world.
The card at the bottom of the cross represents the foundation on which the situation is based. Temperance (Temperance): Calm and restraint. Self-control, patience and tact in handling situations. The act of applying balanced spiritual and psychic forces to physical life.
The card at the left of the cross represents a passing influence or something to be released. La Lune (The Moon): Cyclic transformation covering the mysterious forces of the night. Feminine beauty and the intoxicating vitality of youth. The metamorphosis from beauty to beast and vice versa. Occult forces, sensitivities and intense dreams. Dangerous situations and perilous times.
The card at the right of the cross represents an approaching influence or something to be embraced. Ace of Cups: The seed of a new relationship or spiritual journey - perhaps as yet unseen. An opportunity for joy, contentment, fertility, or enlightenment. Coming to understand the emotional needs of those around you. May represent an unexpected message, a chance meeting, or the start of a friendship or romance.
The card at the base of the staff represents your role or attitude. La Force (Strength): Raw power. Health and physical fortitude. A surge of tremendous force. Recovery from sickness. Victory after apprehension and fear. The ability to face and overcome opposition brings the inner qualities of strength and forbearance. Delays and setbacks will be overcome.
The card second from the bottom of the staff represents your environment and the people you are interacting with. L'Empereur (The Emperor): Worldly authority and power. Social mastery and oratory. One who is intelligent, experienced, confident and reasonable. A patriarch or primary male influence. The motive force of politics and society. The ability to fulfill plans and use mental control over the emotions.
The card second from the top of the staff represents your hopes, fears, or an unexpected element that will come into play. Four of Cups (Luxury): Being surrounded by love and devotion but taking it for granted. Ignoring the real and longing for the indefinable. Apathy and disengagement from the world. Dissatisfaction with the condition and direction of affairs, but the inability to accept new opportunities.
The card at the top of the staff represents the ultimate outcome should you continue on this course. Roy de Deniers (King of Coins): The essence of earth behaving as air, such as a diamond: A true businessman, with a gift for identifying opportunities and taking advantage of them. A person well informed about the world, skilled in all things physical, and eager to encourage others. A pillar of practicality and dependability, embracing tried and tested methods, and possessing an innate understanding of the material reality. A philanthropist and devotee of both luxury and hard work, whose word is as good as gold.

Where does our sense of beauty come from?

Mike

When looking at a sunset or waterfall or mountain range and find it beautiful how and why did we evolve this?

Answer
I think there are four origins of this sense (not in any particular order, and they may overlap here & there):

1. We accept what is conventionally beautiful - fashionable if you like. Today people think high mountains are beautiful but 200 years ago they just represented difficult obstacles. Many of us also accept beauty standards displayed by the rich and famous - hence their endorsement of so many commerclal products.

2. We appreciate the skill and obervation of our fellow humans in creating great works of art or literature because we have some respect and understanding for the difficulties involved and the insights provided.

3. We have an innate appreciation of mathematics and physics; even those of us who don't get far with these subjects at school. Mathematics rules physics and physics rules the natural world and ultimately created us so we are very deeply connected to these subjects because they pervade our (natural) world. Objects that are truly functional often possess a natural beauty and harmony which comes from this source. Likewise our appreciation of proportion and balance in design is at least partly from here.

4. Our appreciation of beauty in humans is based (apart from some of the above considerations) on health and the ability to produce, look after and protect healthy offspring.
