Labels:

amandahugi

I cant remember the name of a world wide cosmetic range, made in france, and is not tested on animals. has been in production for over 40-50 years, I think.

Answer
I think it Clarins Paris. No animal testing, all plants-based.

girls and boys, what is the best brand in men's skin care products?

ash 1988

i live in the UK, and the only place that i trust is Boots, but i cant seem to be able to pick the right product for my skin. my skin is a bit oily, but it can break out so fast. i wash my face with N07 Wake-up Face Wash, N07 scrub 2 times a week, moisturizing once a day after shaving, but still im not really happy with the result. are there any better brands that actually work well? like Lab Series?

Answer
In a guy, but I never use products specifically towards men. That market is too small, so I have very limited options. I've tried lab Series which was good but not amazing. Kiehls was okay too. Jack Black has amazing lip balm and hair conditioner. But for the most part, not a fan. Get the Blemish Complex Kit:

Its new to the UK but its one of the best here in the US. Its actually one of the bestsellers in Sephoras throughout our nation. Its actually the topselling product for acne-prone skin here. Its known as the acne complex kit here though. They probably changed the name just becuz its the UK. like how they changed Harry potter and the Philosopher's Stone to Harry potter and the Sorcerer's Stone here since we use different words.

I find it strange they dont call it Murad there. oh well....

But seriously, this is the best for acne-prone skin.

btw...stay away from scrubs as they may irritate the acne and cause more breakouts. The Murad regiemn will keep you clear. and the cleanser feels amazing. My brother, however, prefers the bare Escentuals kit because he likes how it feels. Murad is better though.

however, I cannot stress how important sunscreen is. no matter the season, you are getting sun damage everyday. Use sunscreen every 2-3 hours. I recommend La Roche Posay which isn't readily available here in the states. Lucky. You have it there. I have to have it shipped from France or Greece. Its the best you can get:

Does anyone over 40 have any recommendations for a good but reasonably priced wrinkle cream ?

Labels:

I have a few deep wrinkles I'd like to get rid of or at least make less noticable. I'm blessed with good genes and no skin problem so I just started taking care of my skin and I'm 42. I wear sunscreen regularly. I've found just using eye cream helps around the eyes but the deep wrinkles?

Answer
You just must simply get Yves Rocher! They have a site on Internet. I started using their products at about age 50, am now 65, have no wrinkles, and always get asked what I use on my face. It is the absolute best product I have ever used, bar none. I have always been an Estee Lauder girl, also.

I use the ADN line. It is DNA switched up a bit. There is no animal testing and all products are absolutely plant based. The company even has its own Amazon jungle farm for the exotic plant extracts.

Another thing, you can always get 2 for 1, and they always send you a free gift, like a purse, overnight bag, quilt, etc with each order. The company is in France, oh, and there is free shipping over a certain dollar amount. Please try this. It is really great.

For those of you men who are circumcised how do you feel?

Scuby

I am circumcised and I don't care.It doesn't bother me and I still feel pleasure.I am a virgin.I don't hate my parents for it.But why are there activists who protest male infant circumcision? It doesn't effect me or bother me.

Answer
Well, the reason activists protest infant circumcision is that a permanent change is being forced on the individual. Everyone has their own reasons to think circumcision is wrong or right that is weighed on factors they think are important or not... but the child deserves the right to use THEIR judgment on what is best for their body. Guys OR girls circed at birth are unable to be intact if that is what they want.. That is why all infant circumcision is wrong.

And medically, due to possible complications from the surgery (taking too much skin, skin reattaching to the head, meatal stenosis, excess bleeding, skin bridges, infections) any benefit you hear about, even if you only believe the "pro side", the possible benefits (infections) dont outweigh the possible complications. So you can't even say there is an immediate health need.

Besides, 80% of the world is intact... canada, australia, mexico, england, france, new zealand, most of europe, etc all have really low rates... the US is one of the few non-islamic nations that have high rates of circumcision. Why? Circumcision started in the US for various medical reasons and to prevent masturbation... yet, all of those previous reasons to do it have been disproved. However, this was not until the 60s when 80% of infants were circumcised, since then rates have slowly dropped to nearly 50% rates today. The main reasons it continues in the US are misconceptions and stigma.

Of course both intact and circed guys enjoy sex and orgasm, but the foreskin provides many other benefits during sexual activity.

1. during masturbation, the mobile skin makes it easier and more pleasurable, just move the skin instead of using lotion and your hand (which doesn't receive pleasure)
2. during sex, the extra mobility reduces rawing friction and need for lube making it more pleasurable. The foreskin also provides extra padding making the penis thicker and feels more organic.
3. during oral/handjobs, the guys partner just has to move the skin, not worry about how they are grasping it or if there is enough lube, etc

So not only is it beneficial to the guy, but also his partner... especially if the guy was circed tight.

To help put this in perspective, imagine those in your area were removing labia from their daughters. The guys are used to it being that way and think it looks better, probably easier to clean as well... and it wouldn't really have a drastic affect on pleasure or function. Would you get it done on your daughter? What would bother you most about it? The lack of medical reasoning? The daughter losing the ability to decide what she wants? Or is what bothers you most is that it isn't an ugly mole or even a birth defect, it is the natural female body, something you are comfortable with and cant imagine how someone could cut off parts of her genitals?
