Skin Care, Makeup, Makeup brushes for sensitive, oily skin?

Labels:

Hiya! I have bad acne, and oily skin. I've tried many things to clear my acne & scars(Skin ID, Proactiv, Prescription drugs, cremes, ect) And nothing seems to work and actually breaks me out more.

Right now I use:
Cleanser: Clean & Clear Face wash plus Makeup remover(Seems to break me out more!)
& No toners or mosterizers because I can never seem to find one that doesn't make my face more oily.

Face Makeup;
Foundation- Mabellene Super Stay 24 hour liquid foundation
Conceuler- Mabellene Super stay 24 hour liquid conceuler
Powder- Mabellene Super stay powder.

I need a new cleanser, toner, mosterizer, foundation, conceuler, powder, bronzer and all that that will look great and help my skin. I have to admitt, sometimes I get lazy and don't wash my face that often, but I do drink lost of water. I also sleep with my hear up every night and I;m starting to sleep with long sleeved shirts to see if it helps.
Also, does anyone know where I can get a cheap make up brush kit that is good quality? Thank you :)

Answer
You need to change your entire routine. Sorry but the products you are using are rubbish.

*SKINCARE*

1) Cleanse with Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Cleanser or Avene Soap Free Gel Cleanser morning + night (you can find them in whole foods, spas, select drugstores. They're under 20$ but you can find them discounted online).

2) Tone morning and night with thayers rose water witch hazel. It removes w/ever may for some reason still be trapped in pores as well as tightens them without overdrying or irritating.

3) For moisturizer in the morning before makeup, use PURE aloe vera gel from fruit of the earth. Its only a few $ for a large bottle. soothing. Rebalances oily skin, hydrates, while leaving a healthy matte never overdried finish.

4) For night moisturizer use pure jojoba oil. Otherwise you must avoid oil in your makeup or skincare but these are natural and will not clog pores. This deeply moisturizes dry patches you may have while tricking oily bits into producing less oil over time. it reduce redness, acne, blackheads, undereye circles, scars after continued use. Just get a few drops, massage between clean fingers and pat onto face allowing it to absorb at night before going to sleep. Don't use underneath makeup though because can look a bit shiny.

5) A few times a week, exfoliate. Use a gentle scrub like kiss my face jojoba mint (very refreshing!) or jason natural apricot scrub (superior alternative to st ives which will cause scarring with the big kernals)

6) 1 night a week, do a face mask to draw out bad impurities and further tighten pores, refresh face, treat acne if you have any. The best on budget are either a very thick layer of PLAIN milk of magnesia from the drugstore.

7) If you are breaking out badly, use faerie organic mineral therapy acne treatment at night after moisturizer. This is the priciest item i'm mentioning sorry but it treats acne so well. It reduces over 80% of a problem overnight w/out irritating skin around it. Natural and better than products i've used from proactive or others.

*MAKEUP*

1) After pure aloe vera gel dries/absorbs in the morning, apply a makeup spray. The best on budget are Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Sealer and Kryolan Fixier. They hold makeup in place all day and control oil to an extent. I love them as much as my pricey favorites from skindinavia/motives, premiere products. They actually work unlike elf, model in a bottle, urban decay, mac, mufe

2) After spray apply fyrinnae velvet silica gel primer. It is the best primer under 10$. It fills in lines/pores, creates flawless smooth canvas for makeup and it will not make you sweaty or break out like rimmel, hard candy, revlon, loreal, elf, and other drugstore primers or rubbish high end ones from mac, mufe, lancome, urban decay, benefit, nars etc. Its as great as my pricey faves from hourglass, lorac, illamasqua. No primer will hold makeup in place all day which is why the spray and routine is needed.

3) Finally you can apply foundation. It doens't matter which brand as long as it is OIL FREE because oil in makeup will ruin staying power, lead to oxidizing and breakouts because they use unhealthy oils, not natural ones that are good for you. For this reason you must avoid maybelline. They use oil in all of their products. They are one of the worst brands. If going drugstore, use physicians formula, prestige/prestige skin loving minerals, bourjois, revlon foundations. If online, the best budget are yaby (makeup artist quality on budget!). If you want mineral powder, the best on budget is ella rose minerals, lumiere cosmetics, everyday minerals, bfte, lucy minerals. Make sure that concealer and blush, bronzer, luminizer etc are also oil free. Read ingredients even if something claims to be matte.

4) Set makeup with a good finishing powder. The best under 20$ at controlling oil/sweat without caking/overdrying, leaving ashy/ghastly cast or breaking me out are:

physicians formula talc free mineral wear matte veil, mattify cosmetics ultra, lucy minerals oil control, la minerals oil control, meow cosmetics top cat, face front cosmetics helium

5) Do your eye makeup next if you wear it and brows. Start w/eyeshadow primer (best buget etude house waterproof10, elf mineral), layer shadow well, stick to gel or liquid waterproof liners as they'll outlast pencils, waterproof mascara...

6) Reapply one of the sprays I told you about and allow to dry. It'll give you a healthy satiny glowy matte, not dull or flat, your makeup will remain fresh in place all day. No more retouching, reapplying, blotting or worrying about makeup getting oily, rubbing off or fading throughout the day. You will remain flawless and your skin will also improve greatly from the new skincare routine.

What natural supplements/foods or vitamins can I take to reduce wrinkles & keep my skin smooth?
