Health Care Reform: Unconstitutional?

Labels:

Hatsune Mi

If the health care reform is demanding that all employers give employees health care, isn't that unconstitutional and socialist? You have to work to EARN things, not have it given to you. I'm only 14, so I may not have gotten this right, but my father is an employer and talks about how ridiculous it is. Frankly, I'm worried about my future. I want to know if Obama is screwing the country. People FOR Obama, no stupid, insulting remarks about my distaste for our president. Also, I don't know the rules, so if I said something I wasn't supposed to, PLEASE let me know.

Answer
Unconstitutionality, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder, but the Supreme Court has the final word.
Compelling persons to purchase a commercial product is, in my opinion, unconstitutional, but I am not a lawyer. If the issue goes to SCOTUS, the decision will probably be a 5/4 split.

President Obama is, in my opinion, doing great harm and damage to the nation. He is 'screwing' you and your future children & grandchildren with his Socialist agenda.

You can't vote yet, but you can try to influence the progress of the issue. Visit my blog post "Flame Your Congressman", copy the link, and visit http://www.congress.org/ to send an email to the President, your Congressman & Senators. You don't need to know their names or district numbers, just your Zip Code. Insert that link into your email. Be sure to tell them, in your own words, what you told us.

When you take American Government and Economics classes, pay attention, do your homework and the extra credit reading. You should start by reading Mark Levin's book: "Liberty and Tyranny".

Beauty Care?

What treatments are there for hair loss in women?
Ask your doctor about minoxidil (the generic name for Rogaine.) This is over-the-counter and available in 2% and 5% concentrations. It's something of a nuisance to apply but it helps conserve hair and may even grow some. Propecia is a drug that helps men retain their hair but unfortunately has no use for women. Propecia is not safe for women of childbearing age and it just doesn't work for older women. This is unfortunate but, for the moment, this is the situation. Surgical procedures like hair transplants can be useful for some women as well as men to "fill in" thinned-out areas.
