Okay so I have extremely frizzy hair. My hair is also very thick and curly. I usually throw it up in a bun or ponytail due to that. To keep the frizz down I would usually put gel, hair spray, foam..etc in it. (But not all at once)
I think because of me constantly putting heavy product in my hair day after day and constantly pulling it back into a tight bun/ponytail it has caused this.
I'm currently seventeen. I always use to be a tom boy but now I'm getting into the girly stage and want to wear my hair down which is difficult because of the frizz. So let me tell you what I would like to know...
First of all if I begin putting my hair in more loosely with less product do you thin that will help? Will it regrow to be beautiful and not so baldish? Here is a picture:

Do you recommend any products to help reduce the frizz? I have tried everything! I have tried Pantene, Bed Head, Aussie, and many others. I tried getting my hair cut shorter with layers. Nothing seems to ever work.
Answer
Yes.Google: "Foods for Healthy Hair" - the website had moved, type it in.
Your hair may be the fastest-growing tissue in the body but, unlike the skin, it cannot repair itself. That is why getting the right balance of vitamins and proteins is imperative. Don't expect to look like you've stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you've changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results.
HAND LOTION: Matthew Morrison keeps his hair soft and smooth by using body lotion instead of styling products.
Matthew Morrison uses body lotion in his hair. The 32-year-old actor- best known for playing teacher Will Schuester in musical TV drama 'Glee' - claims his biggest beauty secret is his unusual choice of product for his locks, which he says makes them smooth and soft. He said: "My hair is very soft, right? It's because I put Lubriderm in it. It's just body lotion. "I used to use gel and products, but my hair got kind of hard. Then, one day I ran out of whatever I was using and that was the only thing there, this lotion. It ended up being the best my hair ever looked." Matthew's hair is often the subject of jokes in 'Glee' but he insists he doesn't mind because everyone is mocked on the show.
My dh have used that since Aug. 2011. His hair is softer, smoother, silkier & not frizzy or pouffy.
Shampoo. Condition. Towel dry, scrunch with gel like Samy, blow-dry using a diffuser briefly, tousle the hair, finger comb, shake your head & you're good to go. If you don't have a diffuser, use a blow heat dryer on low for 5 mins.
When you wake up, instead of shampooing again, keep a bottled water filled with water/conditioner and spray on your hair. Scrunch, finger comb and you're good to go! Google Haley Rinehart - American Idol she's got long beautiful curly hair! When my hair was permed in the 80's, my hair looked like hers. Look @ my hair now.
One method to make it look fuller, add body, tame the curls, bouncier, thicker, SEXIER, softer & shinier hair is to set your hair with plastic curlers (not Velcro) after you towel dry, you'll end up with uniform balance of curls. Blow dry briefly while curling them in curlers. Take them out, and finger comb to style. Used by the best hair color models, and the fashion industry, like Victoria Secret Fashion Show Dec. 2009, America's Next Top Models, EXPRESS, Dancing with the Stars, even used on Oprah's hair . . . . and continued to be used today where salons care about pampering your hair. When you see hair on TV a hair color commercial, they're not done by curling or straightening tools. Hair that shines like that and feels like hair, not hay, has to be done by the best hair tools available w/out damaging to the hair. When you take the curlers out, finger comb to style or lightly brush. Tousle the hair up. or shake your hair. You can use large, medium or small curlers, that depends on the length of your hair. Think of JLo's hair, she was voted as the Sexiest Woman by People magazine!
Washing less often, builds the natural oil your hair needs, to get them smoother, shinier, silkier, softer. Man-made products are just temporary, until you wash them again, and at the same time washing off the natural oil your hair NEEDS. Hair product just absorbs on your hair if they're dry, like a sponge.

Is it ok to eat green skinned russet potatoes?
Ann
A potato that is supposd to be bronut it has green skin- is it okay to eat it?
Answer
No. Throw out any potatoes with substantial green coloring. Here's why:
Potato plant poisoning - green tubers and sprouts
Potato plant poisoning occurs when someone eats the green tubers or new sprouts of the potato plant.
This is for information only and not for use in the treatment or management of an actual poison exposure. If you have an exposure, you should call your local emergency number (such as 911) or the National Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222.
Poisonous Ingredient
Solanine (very toxic even in small amounts)
Where Found
The poison is found throughout the plant, but especially in green potatoes and new sprouts. Never eat potatoes that are spoiled or green below the skin. Always throw away the sprouts.
Potatoes that are not green and have had any sprouts removed are safe to eat.
Symptoms
* Delirium
* Diarrhea
* Dilated pupils
* Fever
* Hallucinations
* Headache
* Loss of sensation
* Lower than normal body temperature (hypothermia)
* Paralysis
* Shock
* Slow pulse
* Slowed breathing
* Stomach or abdominal pain
* Vision changes
* Vomiting
Home Care
Seek immediate medical help. Do NOT make a person throw up unless told to do so by poison control or a health care professional.
