I am 21 years old female and i have hodgkins lymphoma blood cancer. I lost my hair due to chemotherapy and i am having alot of self esteem and body image issues. I used to have long blonde hair, tan skin, and people use to tell me i was gorgeous all the time! Now that ive lost my hair i am rarely told i am pretty anymore, i have wigs but i dont wear them everyday because they are uncomfortable. I also have an extended stomach due to an elarged liver and my teeth are yellow and crooked and nasty! I have always struggled with my teeth and i was going to get them fixed but then i was diagnosed with cancer and i cant work now and when i do go back to work eventually i will have lots of medical bills to pay and so i wont be able to afford to get my teeth fixed. I was shy in highschool and rarely talked that much cuz i didnt want to open my mouth and have people see my teeth! I am very self consicous about my teeth and need lumineers bad! I am even more self conscious now that i have cancer and am bald and look pregnant from my enlarged liver. I feel like i went from being the beauty in the story to being the ugly beast. Is there any charities that could help me fix me teeth so i can feel alittle prettier and better about myself??

When you have an enlarged liver, that means there is inflammation
inside of it due to liver cell damage.
Patients who have liver disease, need to have blood testing done to
see how well their platelets are being made and also how well their
blood clots.
Therefore, it would be wise to double check any and all dental work
possibly being done, with your doctors. They may need to do blood
testing and may also start you on antibiotics before you have
any dental work done. Or they may have you put off having it done
at the present time...because of a risk to your health.

I'm not sure if they cover straigthening teeth or having lumineers,
but they may cover cavities and other Medically necessary dental procedures.
