A "plastic soup" of waste floating in the Pacific Ocean is growing at an alarming rate and now covers an area twice the size of the continental United States, scientists have said.

The vast expanse of debris â in effect the world's largest rubbish dump â is held in place by swirling underwater currents. This drifting "soup" stretches from about 500 nautical miles off the Californian coast, across the northern Pacific, past Hawaii and almost as

Do Italy and France have magazines like "In Style" or "Better Homes and Gardens?"?

I am studying european women's attitudes about health and beauty, specifically, France and Italy. If you could provide links to these magazines online, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Answer
Yes, there's plenty of magazines for women, filled with information about fashion, beauty tips, health tips etc. Here are a few in France:

Elle
Maison et jardin
Marie Claire Maison
Femme actuelle
Marie Claire
Burda
Madame Figaro
Vogue
Mode et travaux

For purely health subjects you have some like:
Top Santé
Santé Magazine

There's around 500 magazines in France classified as women magazines.

For Italy I can't give you names but I know they also have a wide range of magazines for women
