If it is severe skin dryness that you are experiencing, you should really see a dermatologist. Otherwise, it may be that your skin is reacting to a change in climate or a product that you are using or were using. If you can, avoid using soaps because they will be even more drying to your skin because they contain ingredients that are alkaline, versus acidic, and you want to keep your skins pH level acidic. Products with a high lipid content (fat) are best for skin that is very dry, but try to purchase one that is not comedogenic (won't clog your pores). A dermatologist would recommend products that would be perfect for your skin, or any spa or medispa in your area will sell products that would be hydrating and moisturizing. Cheaper doesn't mean better, or as good - so if you don't have to result to drugstores for your skin care products, don't.
