Answer
Water and tea are useful because they help the skin release toxins and to lessen acne.

Drink plenty of water on a daily basis. This helps to sustain your skinâs suppleness, and it is also necessary for helping your body to get rid of toxic in the form of sweat. Thatâs why Jogging and other work out are important to skin care. They increase blood circulation and bring more oxygen to tissues and also let you sweat. The recommendation is to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and to do a daily work out to flush out toxins that has bacteria which are harmful to the skin. These ways are not only excellent for your health and skin; they are also cheap ways to getting rid of acne forever.

Eating fresh fruit and vegetables build up the bodyâs protection system against bacteria and helps quicker healing of acne. Vitamin C is responsible for the skins general function and its capability to repair itself and to produce and keep collagen. Fruits and vegetables are very good sources of Vitamin C and A. Adding fruits and vegetables with high substance of vitamin C and A to your daily diet is a good way to let acne cure naturally.

Melaleuca oil is at this time one of the best home acne remedies. Melaleuca oil is applied topically as an anti-infective agent. The use of melaleuca oil is fast gaining popularity in the world because of its ability to treat and fight skin blemishes as well as curing acne in your skin. As one of the leading home acne remedies it has been a better alternative to a number of over the counter drugs in the market today. Melaleuca oil has been shown effective for bacterial infections as acne.

Zinc is an essential requirement for a healthy body as it helps cells reproduce. It is widely recognized that lack of zinc can contribute to acne. The recommended dietary allowance of zinc from puberty on is 11mg for males and 8mg for females, with higher amounts recommended during pregnancy. Zinc seals and protects the skin. Zinc oxide has been used for generations to relieve itching. Zinc sulfate is effective in treating some cases of acne.

Lessen the use of cosmetics as much as possible. These block pores. If you must put on makeup, make sure that you are using products for sensitive skin. Splash your face with cold water before applying, and make sure you wash all the makeup away before going to bed.

**Also try toothpaste, it works like a charm!!!
And do not wash your face 5 times a day, or its gonna get REALLY dry!

Are there any organic or all-natural face washes that help clear breakouts?

I've been having issues with my skin lately, as every teen does. It's nothing major - no severe breakouts - but I would prefer to get rid of blemishes and discoloration/small scars from zits. I like using organic or all-natural products - does any one know of a good product to use that helps heal blemishes, minimize discoloration, control oils, yet leave skin feeling soft and not dry?

Answer
Hey there,
Those minor break outs can be a real pain! I think you're on the right track to use all natural and organic products. Clear skin could be a easy as eliminating petrochemicals and sulphates from your skin care regime.

Botani have a good acne rescue kit that you may want to try, and it's not that expensive either. Mind you the acne rescue cream does have a bit of benzylalcohol

Rosehip Oil has well known healing properties and lovely on your skin. Quite a quick and relatively inexpensive fix it.

Another thing, be careful what type of make-up you use, if it has petrochemicals, it's probably blocking you're pores (even the water based non-comedone types). Try a mineral make up instead. Brands like Inika and Earthy Essences use Zinc Oxide which helps to heal the skin as well as provide a natural sunscreen.

Good luck
Sonya
