Why do people insist on attacking black women?

Why is it so hard for people to not make sweeping accusations about black women that taint each and everyone of us and attempts to group us into one negative stereotype. Whats disturbing is how some black men seem to be doing it to? Why can't people grasp that the melanin in your skin doesn't shape your character?
Answer
You have to stop worrying about it and caring. Trust me.
Most of these people have only met some negative Black women and used them as the yardstick. Many have never met ANY Black women.
Also, people have no idea how difficult the lives of some Black women are...
But you, nor I, have control over how others' see us, but it is best to stop caring.
You will drive yourself crazy trying to understand why.
And keep in mind that in many cases it doesn't matter HOW we behave...the issue is that Black women don't LOOK like other women so, to these people, we "deserve" whatever treatment we get and don't have the right to be angry about anything.
When you learn that what they think is based in so much error and hatred and that it isn't worth it to try to understand these people (why should you? They never try to understand the things we go through), then you will be so much better.
You will also get a lifetime of smug personal satisfaction when you prove them wrong in your daily life. Don't try to "prove" anything, on purpose. Just lead your own positive life and watch the jealousy and surprise.

When a black man dates lighter skinned black women is he just trying to dating outside his race?
Q. I am black and native american. I am obviously pretty light skinned. It seems like all black men care about is if your light skinned and have a big butt. You are really attractive to them. Is it because they like other races more than their own or what is that about?

Light skinned black women/people ARE BLACK. You're biracial, there are plenty of black people who have lighter complexions who aren't mixed.
Most black men I know don't care about race or color as far as dating, they date who they find attractive.
