I'm wanting to start a business that promotes beauty & health...I wish to start with the spa and grow from there...here's the thing, I have no idea where to start and how much i will need...help please!

Should people who have previously broken vertebrae go to health spas?
Q. I'm thinking of buying my mother a day at a health and beauty spa for her birthday but a couple of years ago she had an accident on the road and broke one or two of the vertebrae in her back. Is it advisable for her to go somewhere where they'll be performing back massages and applying pressure to her back. Obviously it's healed now but should I be cautious of buying her this? Will it do any damage or will it cause pain?

It depends on whether the doctors said the joints are stable or not. I have broken my back twice the second time was 5 weeks ago and i'm going to be fine in a few months, this is because i have had compression fractures (wedge shaped) this is when the bone crushes but is still stable. If your mum's back has been deamed stable by your doctor it should be just fine. i was told the only thing i can not do in the future is bungie jump and thats it.
It is unlucky to cause any pain unless your mum usually experiences back pain.
