I am having trouble finding the right skin care products. It has to be fragrance free and not tested on animals or have animal ingredients (I'm allergic) I have been using MaryKay products which I thought were good at first, but honestly, my skin now looks blotchy and I am breaking out. I really need to find something else.
Answer
M.A.C is the best brand that I have used so far. It's a little expensive, but I'm sure that you would be satisfied with the results. It can be purchased in Nordstrom or on line.
Hope you receive the best results!

How to get my damaged skin back to normal after acne?
sweezy16
My skin has taken a beating from acne over the years and now i have redmarks and minor scars. What is the best way to get my normal skin back the way it was before i had acne?
Answer
If the pimple marks are severe and you can afford it, you can go to a dermatologist and talk to them.
The dermatologist can do microdermabraison or chemical peels to fade them (my dermatologist charges around $150 for 1 and you need around 3-4 depending on the scarring).
Make sure you moisturize and exfoliate gently 2 to 3 times a week. Make sure you wear sunblock too.
But these products have helped faded them a little bit:
1. Clinique Acne Solutions Post Blemish Formula $14 (There wasn't that much product in it and I think it lasted about 2 weeks or so.)

2. I have heard putting lemon juice on dark spots helps lighten them but have never tried this myself.
3. Josie Maran Argan Oil- This stuff gets great reviews from almost everyone. I tried this for a week or so and didn't think it was a miracle oil like tons of people said but everyone's skin is different so it is worth a try. You can buy a small bottle for $14.

Also I think exfoliating gently 2-3 times a week helps fade acne scars.
This is my favorite exfoliator, but there are tons of others that people like:

Clinique is more expensive but they have great gift with purchases like this one:
