I am getting married next May, so I have 6 months to be in tip-top shape for my wedding. I am going to the gym and TRYING to diet. It is not easy. I am not fat, however id like to tone my tummy and get rid of the extra flub thats on my sides. I also want to try to get my hair to grow longer and make my skin more clear. Any tips? Is there a "super food" i should be eating? An exercise I should try doing?
Answer
you should definitely try to drink lots of water. this will keep your skin hydrated and make it look more healthy. try carrying a water bottle in your hand bag, that's what i do to ensure i drink lots.
i also suggest you use tea tree oil, it's cheap but it really works, it's just amazing. you should have a skin care routine where you wash your face, dry it and then put some tea tree oil on a cotton ball and wipe it over your face. it can sometimes hurt so maybe add a bit of water to it to start, but when it hurts that means it's working. it's an antibacterial so it cleans all the bacteria in your pores that produce pimples and black heads and basically just cleans your skin really well. once it's dried you use a good vitamin E moisturiser. if you've got the money i even suggest you go and get a few facials. if you get one now, one in 2 months then again 6 weeks before the wedding and 1 week before the wedding your skin will be amazing and it's very relaxing.
i also suggest you ask your hairdresser about growing your hair long and keeping it in good health, no one will know your hair as well as he/she does and they will be able to suggest products for you to use.
as for exercise, running and swimming are great ways to tone up. both of them build muscles all over your body, swimming in particular works your tummy and arms. good luck

How do you know if the guy is a right one?
I'm currently single but do have a few ex & I realized they're jerks who gives empty promises. They start off nice & everything but after awhile their feelings fade. So I'm wondering how can I find the perfect guy without going through the heartwrenching stage?
Answer
Dear Lynnette:
If a guy asked the same question of you: "If you were dating a rich and successful batchelor for a couple of years, and things were getting very serious, and you found out he asked his best friend "How do I know if Lynnette is the right one?" How would you honestly and objectively answer that question for his friend - to reassure your BF that you were the right girl for him? It's a very hard question to quantify - like you were advising someone on buying a new handbag or a Ski Jacket.
The first question I would ask is how old are you both? If you guys are 16 or 18 or even 20, - odds are your relationship is NOT going to result in marriage, a few months or even a couple of years together as a couple- but most likely not a lifetime commitment - therefore I say enjoy one another's company - but for goodness sake stop with all the teenage DRAMA already!! Good God! Teenager Girls are such Drama Queens, - lighten up already!
Your "Perfect Guy" in HS, your "STEADY" was a Boy who just started shaving a couple of years ago - maybe. He still thinks body noises and odors are still hysterical, he thinks alcohol is to be used only to get blind drunk, and swearing is cool. He views women as Sluts who will put out, bitches who won't, hotties who he dosen't know but might, and the Babes who work at Hooters as Goddeses'. He masterbates 3 - 4 times a day, washes his car more often than he showers, and puts cologne on his crotch - "just in case". He think's it's a waste of $ 75.00 to buy roses & candy for you on Valentines day, but thinks nothing of spending $ 750.00 on new rims on his 4 door '69 Ford Comet Piece of Crap Car.
Past all that? OK let's say we're in out late 20's or so, what are those tell-tale clues to look for?
Things that say "No No No"

2. He can never stay over, or take a spontaneous long weekend on the spot.

5. Unconsciously hums along with any & all of the saturday morning cartoon jingles, songs, and character themes.
6. Cuts the crust off your sandwiches without asking.
7. Always hangs up his sport coat & pants neatly before comming to bed, (Never makes love anywhere but in bed, and always with the lights off.
8. Pees in the sink, whether there are dishes in the sink or not.
9. Believes that a laundry hamper also doubles as a washing machine.
Things that say "Yes Yes Yes"
1. Does NOT have a room mate
2. Does NOT have any CD's of :
Show Tunes
